Thanks for posting Bomberguy. There were superb aerobatic displays by a Jüngmeister (and a Jungmann) at Military and Flying Machines 2011 last Saturday.
The inverted crash was unavoidable. Once the vertical stab touches the ground, the aircraft cannot rotate to climb again. There's a period when the plane flies aling dragging its fin in the dirt and all the pilot can do is cut the power and hang on! The bucker rolled itself into a ball but the pilot was OK.
Great video - Thank you for posting. The Jungmeister was powered by a Siemens Sh 14A-4 engine. Only a handful were converted to Warner Scarabs on their arrival in the USA. The Siemens is a fine engine, but it does require constant tinkering with the dual fuel pressure regulators and carburetors.
I might become involved in rebuilding a "BRAMO" here in So. Calif. Have you more info on the Siemens? I am in possession of a overhaul manual as downloaded from the net, but would be interested in hearing of any actual hands on experiences as to re-working and maintaining the engine systems, or locating parts-

Does anyone know if Otto Von Hagenburg flew for the German Luftwaffe in World War II?

What a magnificent little aeroplane. It's nice to see that some modern new builds of it are being made.

I just read that Otto von Hagenburg is still alive...he's probably 107 years old and one of the oldest members of the peerage worldwide!
