  • I like it, but I need to correct you one detail, the Aragon's reign taked all this places with Pedro IV from 1319:II de Valencia y de Ampurias, I de Mallorca y Cerdeña y III de Barcelona (Balaguer, 1319 - Barcelona, 1387), rey de Aragón, Valencia y conde de Barcelona (1336-1387); rey de Mallorca (1344-1387), duque de Atenas (1380-1387) y Neopatria (1377-1387) y conde de Ampurias (1386-1387), hijo de Alfonso el Benigno.

With the Catholic's Kings they added more kingdoms.

  • @zgzplus Thanks for your kind words and clarification!

    Cheers

  • I saw a photo showing arabic calligraphy in this Palace. Was that after the restoration or did it survive throughout?

  • @kazakhseven Some of this calligraphy did survive.

  • @MaxwellsDemon2000 Thanks

  • AlJaferia is named after Abu Jafar Almuqtadir, it was the siege of the muslim moorish rulers of the saragoza region. its architecture is moorish that has been stamped here and there with Aragonese coat of Arms and other details after its capture by Alphonso of Aragon.

Look up "aljaveria castle or palace" .there is plenty info about it on the net.

As for the south of Italy and Sicily it's full of Islamic architectural influences, the style differs to spain because it came mainly from Tunisa.

  • @123VivaDjazair I can't see were our descriptions differ, have you read the text in the side bar? Of course it's moorish, I called it Spanish Islamic Architecture, what's the big difference, but thanks anyway for the comment... Peace!

  • @MaxwellsDemon2000

My comment wasn't about the video's narrative or the description .. I was just wanted to remind those who refuse to acknowledge the fact of a muslim legacy in South of Italy, Sicily, Spain and various other places....it's good to have an objective mind when looking into history because without it we'll never learn the precious lessons of the past.

This is a good video... I thank you for uploading it.

  • @123VivaDjazair Thank you for the complement + clarification!

  • This is Andalusi style

  • Retarded & resentful white-hating nonwhite troll pretending to be a "redneck" is already well aware that examples of Islamic architecture also survive in other parts of Europe (Greece, Italy, the Balkans)

  • Great video, there is really still alot in good shape here, most of the ones i know in germany are highly ruined.

Hmm so the 300 did not not kick them out afterall ? ;)

  • :-) 300? Sparta, Greece?! Vienna! But in Germany? Lazering around in reality? ;) talk to me, I'm confuzius :-)

  • Well i was thinking Spain didnt have any spartans or this castle wouldnt have been built. Yes germany i think we dont have enough cool castles that are still largely undestroyed like polish or spanish ones...

  • Well done!

  • Than you CP! :-)
