well. to be fair a lot of bands do cover songs, and some do albums of nothing but covers. metallica did it, and so did ministry. albeit that most of the songs off this ozzy thing didnt sound as good as the originals imo, people say the same thing about the metallica tribute cd, but its more just an homage to the stuff they listened to when they were young and that influenced them, which is why they did it. and also to show a different audience music that they never heard before.
