  • Thanks for posting! This is one of my all time favortite scenes. I was actually searching for this exact scene!! Sumner is such a great character!!!

  • Why did we not hear of GREG'S SISTER IN THE EARLIER SEASON OF Knots Landing?

  • are any scenes on youtube where ava gardener apears as greg's mother?

  • It's a great show but the music playing to too loud and unnecessary for this scene.

  • HE SHOULD OF GOT A AWARD FOR THIS U CAN FEEL THE PAIN IN YOUR HART.

  • I loved Sumner but no one could ever come close to JR Ewing. JR's monolog to his Father's portrait showed JR's true love for his father and the Power Jock Ewing still had throughout Dallas is a testament to the Great writing and the Great Portrayal Jim David gave in Playing Jock Ewing.

  • I heard this was modeled after a scene on "Dallas" where J.R. talks to Jock's painting after he pulls himself out of the slump he fell into when Jock died.

  • @Lotmeister I agree.. Jim Davis' Character had likeable qualities and Jock remained a Powerful force through out the entire History of DALLAS

  • One of the best scenes of the series; it provided years worth of motivation for the Sumner character. It reminds me of the scene where Greg tells tells M and K that he's giving Meg to them. Also, it appears that this was not the original ending of this episode b/c Greg is wearing his same clothing from the press conference and it's the same room; but he meets w/Gary at the ranch shortly after the conf. and he's in a different suit. I wonder if the change was made b/c this scene worked so well.
