You got to give Nielson some credit, He took alot of clean shots from Tyson.. Think about how many big Muscular Guys like Frank Bruno and Bruce Seldon that couldn`t even withstand half the punishment that Tyson gave to Nielson
@diamondmoney007 Mike's "skills" weren't gone, but his speed was in decline and his motivation was gone. He was just going through the motions to collect a pay day at this point. Mike still knew how, and had the ability to, throw punches in combination, bomb and weave his way inside - but all of that takes a lot of energy, which means training really hard to be prepared, which Mike wasn't doing anymore at this point.
it's quite a feeling to watch Tyson fighting at that age and still always showing great speed, his fearless look, exquisite defense bending the knees, bobbing, weaving.... man what a fighter he was. We need another tyson-like fighter for this era... if that even exists.... is that to much to ask???? :D
"Pride of Denmark": 6 foot 3 ins of farm fresh butter. Fought with heart though. Tyson at that age was still a scary proposition. Power was still largely intact if nothing else.
