@crookhunter the conservatives run to that excuse. the real problem is in the bush era tax cuts. how was the government going to avoid deficits from reducing taxes?
@kitsunefoxfyre Please explain why you think Conservatives are trying to push women back. I think women need to work twice as hard to gain respect for what they do and not their bodies, but this is life and we can't change men the best thing to do is not whine about it and work hard, do you disagree? That speech in the beginning is exactly why I hate America. "WE'RE BEST COUNTRY NEVER MIND THAT WE'RE DESTROYING THE MIDDLE EAST WE'RE BEST NEVER MIND THAT WE'RE SO BIGOTED AGAINST GAYS WE'RE BEST SORRY GUYS"
@bobmuffins Well sir, I have been to other many countries....and they tell their kids the same thing you complain about...they even come over here and tell us that they are so much better than us...its kinda hypocritical that you complain about something everyone is guilty doing...(Btw...Seattle and LA would make me hate the U.S. also)
@JJJohnson32 Really? Here I haven't heard too many people say "WE'RE BEST COUNTRY EVER" everyone's just kinda "yeah cool we're a first world country whatever man i dunno"
@bobmuffins I have, especially in the school system...some of my friends who use to go to school were taught that _____ is that greastest country ever....even Mila Kunis has said so in an interview...(She's from Russia), and even people who have never been to the U.S. critize America.....
@bobmuffins You are a God damn idiot, and barely worth fighting for. WHat the HELL do you know about the middle east or the US military. JACK SHIt. Thats what, we are not destroying the middle east, we can't, the middle east is already trying to kill itself. We are trying and partially succeeding in stopping the violence committed by Saddam. We ARE and have BEEN the strongest and best country for the last 90 years or so. Different people have different opinions on gays, dont stereotype a country
Hey, Tuesday was a great day for Conservatives. We made a strong statement at the polls. Now finding your videos have really topped of my week. Keep up the good work!!
The only thinkg I can say I disagree with you on is Michael Steele. He is a RINO and needs to be tossed from the party. Palin would be a great head of the GOP. Obama was elected largely because of race, and the fact McCain spent 8 years giving the finger to conservatives to keep the media on his side. Palin is what kept the election from being a landslide in the popular vote. Just a few days away from stopping socialism in its tracks now!
@BCE42906 So, the people who voted for Obama did so mostly because he was black? Funny, I hear people say a similar thing about the motivation of people that don't like Obama. Is either one true, or neither? Just like plenty of people dislike Obama feel that way because of his policies, plenty of people voted for him because of his policies (or because of the policies of the most visible opposition). McCain lost because he STOPPED standing apart from the rest, not because he used to do so.
@Skintrinsic Ask conservatives; no conservative I knew was excited about McCain...he sold out conservative values to get the medai to adore him. My nephew is someone who campaigned for, and attended the innaguration of Obama. Even he acknowledges that Obama was elected because he is black.
@BCE42906 Which conservative values did he sell out? And which ones did he sell out that normal conservatives don't sell out? I had no idea that campaigning for a politician made a person an expert on what got them elected. Do you think Hilary would have fared substantially worse against McCain?
@Skintrinsic McCain voted against the Bush tax cut, He supports amnesty for illegal immigrants. Supported the banning of aggressive interrogation, which saves American lives. I don't think it has anything to do with the democratic candidate. McCain was a joke of a candidate to the conservatives.
@BCE42906 "Supported the banning of aggressive interrogation, which saves American lives." Really? Cuz according to the CIA, we've received no actionable intelligence from torture. Voting against tax cuts for the rich...yeah, guess he did sell out conservative values. You said that Obama was elected because he was black, which was why I brought up a democratic candidate who wasn't black. I do agree on him breaking on illegal immigration, which is kinda funny, given what state he's from.
@Skintrinsic The CIA doesn't acknowledge anything covert. The rich are who provide jobs for people, if you don't give them tax cuts, they can;t afford to hire new people and create jobs. I'm not the one who said Obama was elected because he was black, that came from my nephew. Race played a factor in this; but so did many other things, including the fact conservatives didn;t like McCain. Palin is the only reason Obama didn't win 45 states.
@BCE42906 Except when they're caught at it. Right, cuz we've seen such a surge in jobs over the last few years with those tax cuts. Providing a personal tax break to the rich doesn't make jobs. Providing tax breaks to businesses in specific instances does. You said "even", so I assumed you agreed with him. If that's not the case, then sorry. Palin repelled people, too. If Romney had been the running mate, McCain would have done better. And if he had run a cleaner campaign.
Hey man, why don't YOU run??? You got my vote. I am serious as a heart attack. Not often one comes across a young man with your grasp of reality, AND the amazing ability to express it with such passion and common sense. I predict you will stand on a world stage of respect and recognition in the future. Naw, I'm not a fortuneteller, those people are spooky, I just know brilliance when I see it.
I come to your videos after long days of facebook debates because of my statuses and constant liberal attacks in college classes when i correct liberal professors - such a relief at the end of the day - keep doing what you do!!!
Thomas Jefferson was an atheist. how is this country founded on Christian values?
Have you been to DC? Does DC look familiar to you? DC Looks like Rome, Very Pagan and not very cathedral-like. Separation of Church and state? did we forget about that? One would think by the amount of shitty videos you have online, that by now your public speaking skills would be much better or that your videos would have higher quality. Slow down. enunciate .read more books.not good enough..you dont measure up
@PortableFernie Your critique is a right you have. That said, do you have facts to dispute what he's saying? Take you time.. look long and hard through YOUR library.
@PortableFernie Your critique is a right you have. That said, do you have facts to dispute what he's saying? Take you time.. look long and hard through YOUR library. Also, if he's going to fast for you, simply watch it again if you missed something.
@PortableFernie May I direct you to the DOI (which Thomas Jefferson wrote), he says that we are given unalienable rights by our CREATOR, therefore he's not atheist (you could, however argue agnostic). Second, the architecture used does not have anything to do with religion. Rome, at the beginning was a republic and then a representative democracy (what we are). Plus their building designs are top notch.
Alan Keyes would have gotten my vote I love Huckabee and think he would have made a great president-certainly not have tried to dismantle all the things that have made this country the place that people come from all over the world to find a dream or place to start again. Having lived in Arizona for 14 years, i was totally blown away when Mccain got the nomination..
I would love to see Huckabee and Palin!!!!!!! WE COULD hopefully fix this country and get back on the right track that we slowly fell from decades ago (minus Reagon)
You claim to love this country, yet you know NOTHING of its bloody history. Not of its inner history, but the history it has exported. Killing, torture, economic shock, and coups are what taint this country. Its ignorant idiots like you that allow America to continue to export torture instead of fighting against it.
@onfirealex you are dead on. This guys sounds good to people who are not informed about the true history of this country. He is amazing to listen to, particularly since he speaks unchallenged, but he is factually wrong on just about all counts!
@onfirealex Sense you put NOTHING in all caps it must mean you are right. You only look at the bad things that others in this country;'s history have done. A. rachel could probably whip your butt in a debate
All this guy is to the Republicans and Tea Baggers is a good pet dog. As long as they can get him to do what you want him to do, he's a smart pet dog, but the minute he opposes them, or disagrees with them on something, he's a no good pet dog.
The reason we need more than two parties is not because we want to split up the country any more, but because we're tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. Conservative fiscally AND socially? Hell no. Liberal fiscally AND socially? Hell no. America needs a Libertarian as President to give the country TRUE freedom, not what you conservatives or liberals have tricked yourselves into thinking it is.
Hey Macho...... Instead of Allen Keys we need "Allen West" and "Romney" for 2012. Ya, I agree, Thompson sadly got to old on us. I was thinking Palin as the VP but, having discovered Allen West he's way better. So Romney Pres, and Allen West VP for 2012. :)
@KenpoanBjj Of course he is..... You need to not believe the things that are said about him. I know because I was once like him in relation to abortion for example. I was once personally against it like he was, but also like he believed the state shouldn't get involved, but then we both changed out minds and believed that protection of life was actually one of the states charges. Even Ronald Reagan changed his views on this.
@KenpoanBjj Or, take the health care thing, he attempted to involve the market as well as the state to fix health care, and a lot of it worked, but given that he had to deal with Liberals, he wasn't able to make it perfect, but you can't blaim the guy for trying, and it does do some good etc. There is nothing else that he's not absolutely conservative on, so, I don't see why some are so against him. He's absolutely the best guy for the job at this time. Romney & Allen West the next election.
@leeuniverse there is a difference between the "best man for the job" and the most electible one. I think Zo's suggestion of a Huckaby/Keyes ticket is spot on. I think the nation would think "too much religion" in the White House. I was thinking Paul/Keyes but doubt Keyes would have accepted. Keyes could have been Paul's moral compass...
@KenpoanBjj I think you underestimate people once they actually have the "choice" between them. Paul's not electable, and some of his views go too far. Huckaby is a good guy, but, I think too Evangelical, I think people are tired of Evangelicals in the WH. You get Romney in there and it would be a little like JFK (without the love affair of course), he's the most pro of the bunch. Keye's frankly is a bit too nutty, not electable either. Allen West is way above Keye's. We need the "skills".
@leeuniverse I am with you on West but Romney is not the guy. he is more of the same...Keye's issue is that he comes across uptight and condescending. If you actually listen to what he says...or if you could read what he says instead of hearing it, he kills it. He destroys Obama in a battle of wits... But I hear what your saying about seeming "nutty". I am looking for a hardcore small gov constitutionalist to turn back the tide of the progressive/socialist movement of the last 100 years.
@KenpoanBjj The only "actual" problem I see with Romney (not the things said about him) is that he can be a little to "stiff", robot like when he's talking, way to "pro" looking rather than natural looking, so that turns some people off. Ya, I know what you're saying about getting back to the good days, I think Romney is a great deal for that, but with a little more balance. Of course, we all want a Reagan back in there, but, Romney is the closest thing to smart and getting things done.
@inlines8master Actually your wrong, actually READ the clause.... Religion shall not be promoted NOR infringed. Banning religion from the government is just as unconstitutional as government promoting religion. People should be allowed to be "who they are" be they religious or not. Such does not make the government, such is simply the people in a pluralistic society.
Not sure what you mean there. Are you referring to gov't corruption? Because they should be held to the same standard as any other citizen (something we underscore by punishing people found to be corrupt).
Ah, well yes, the gov't does end up interfering in people's lives to some degree or another. Personally, I'd prefer the least interference possible, but I'm also aware that in order to be effective and responsible, gov't has to be able to interfere to a degree (for instance, criminal laws, removing children from abusive homes, etc).
Sure, in the same way that anyone in gov't can have a religion.
They are to keep us safe from aggressors not of our nation (military), aggressors of our nation (police), and they need a system to judge those that infringe.
They are also to protect our right as defined but the founders documents.
huckabee is an incompetent religious moron who SAID we should remodel the constitution after the bible... he must have missed the whole point of the constitution... i'm a independent.. and would be ready to throw my support behind the republican party as soon as they dumped the religious fanatics... who do not realize that the bible is MOST LIKELY NOT TRUE!!! I can not support that party with those nuts in it.. reason: you already see now how they manipulate and control the party... disgusting.
nothing in my commen is based on fallacy.. i heard huckabee say it with his own lips in debate.... he also does not believe in evolution.... i'm not saying there is a religious conspiracy.. just stupid religious people fucking with the government. JUST LEAVE CHURCH AND STATE COMPLETELY SEPERATE!!!!
saying you do not believe in evolution does not make you look smart.. it demonstrates your ignorance and lack of knowledge about the world we live in... huckabee did say that.. it was a big ruckus about it... and you have to be the biggest idiot ever seperation of church and state was always about stopping religious organizations from killing others for different religions and stopping religion from influencing everything..... i.e. seperation of CHURCH AND STATE.. stop sleeping at the wheel.
" you have to be the biggest idiot ever seperation of church and state was always about stopping religious organizations from killing others for different religions and stopping religion from influencing everything..... i.e. seperation of CHURCH AND STATE.. "
That saying was in a letter to a bishop from Jefferson regarding his (the bishops) concerns of a state-established religion.
no... facts consists of truth.. your argument is driven by the fact that you don't like the democrat party and likes the republican party... partisan politics taints minds.. what i said about huckabee was true,, he defended it on fox news,,, believe what you want... everyone else does... but i hope you think about the truth and rather any is in religion.... huckabee made those comments.. rather birthers or truthers,, people are paranoid morons driven by emotions and hates and not reason...
wormer. you represent america perfectly. you represent it's politics(left and right) education, culture, intelligence, knowledge about history or facts, knowledge about the universe and world we live in and superstitious religious way of thinking. you are america... unfortunately... thats not a compliment. goodbye
"The focus on seperation of church and state was also contextual in that it was spoken in the context of keeping STATE out of religious matters."
That was (mostly) the context (if you're referring to the letter by Jefferson), however, the principle of separation of church and state predated his use of the term. When people colonized America, one of the main reasons they did so was that they wanted no man's religion to be controlling their gov't.
bnp: Actually the Church of England was rife with corruption due to the presence of government.
That was what they ran from. No they didn't want religion controlling government but that stopped at the government being unable to create a state religion.
Due to the nature of religion, any religion sanctioned by the state has significant power over the state. The presence of an official church means that the state's policies will be in line with that sect's teachings, and that if other religious membership is allowed, it will be treated less well (especially back then). When you have religion and gov't working together, the lines between them blur, and their own individual corruption is magnified.
The FFs never intended for religion to be seperate from government. Simply that the government would never impose a specific belief/religion on the public.
And you don't see an inevitability of the gov't enforcing a specific religion's rules and beliefs if religion is not kept separate from gov't? I mean, that's pretty much why everyone gets so gung-ho about keeping them separate.
Indeed, but there are laws preventing a government official from say, making laws that show a clear bias to one religion or another, or making laws that enforce a religion's strictures on people that do not adhere to that religion (or even people that do).
I couldn't care less about religion (with the exception of Islam), except when people try to use it to justify interfering in other people's personal lives.
Huckabee and Keyes would've been a dream team... You need a bigger voice because this suggestion needs to make it all the way to the primaries. Enough with choosing the lesser of two evils - let's have politicians that will represent us and do what we need them to do in order to get this country back on its track to greatness.
ron paul! but i voted green party because i knew they would not win and i do think a third party would not be a bad thing. i also knew obama would win the only state i was wrong with was florida
People here DON'T look at EVERYONE HERE as Americans. If you're not a Black American , you're a N****, If you're not white you're a "C****", If you're not Hispanic, you're a "S***".... This is our country and I am happy that I'm a black woman born a free child in this country...but I'm not proud of the fact that we have terrorists on our OWN soil and no one seems to want to stop THEM from creating havoc against minorities.
STILL, don't act as though that's something I made up. Blacks aren't seen as American. There's usually a racial epithet attached to how society sees us R

BCE42906 1 year ago
@BCE42906 So, the people who voted for Obama did so mostly because he was black? Funny, I hear people say a similar thing about the motivation of people that don't like Obama. Is either one true, or neither? Just like plenty of people dislike Obama feel that way because of his policies, plenty of people voted for him because of his policies (or because of the policies of the most visible opposition). McCain lost because he STOPPED standing apart from the rest, not because he used to do so.
Skintrinsic 1 year ago
@Skintrinsic Ask conservatives; no conservative I knew was excited about McCain...he sold out conservative values to get the medai to adore him. My nephew is someone who campaigned for, and attended the innaguration of Obama. Even he acknowledges that Obama was elected because he is black.
BCE42906 1 year ago
@BCE42906 Which conservative values did he sell out? And which ones did he sell out that normal conservatives don't sell out? I had no idea that campaigning for a politician made a person an expert on what got them elected. Do you think Hilary would have fared substantially worse against McCain?
Skintrinsic 1 year ago
@Skintrinsic McCain voted against the Bush tax cut, He supports amnesty for illegal immigrants. Supported the banning of aggressive interrogation, which saves American lives. I don't think it has anything to do with the democratic candidate. McCain was a joke of a candidate to the conservatives.
BCE42906 1 year ago
@BCE42906 "Supported the banning of aggressive interrogation, which saves American lives." Really? Cuz according to the CIA, we've received no actionable intelligence from torture. Voting against tax cuts for the rich...yeah, guess he did sell out conservative values. You said that Obama was elected because he was black, which was why I brought up a democratic candidate who wasn't black. I do agree on him breaking on illegal immigration, which is kinda funny, given what state he's from.
Skintrinsic 1 year ago
@Skintrinsic The CIA doesn't acknowledge anything covert. The rich are who provide jobs for people, if you don't give them tax cuts, they can;t afford to hire new people and create jobs. I'm not the one who said Obama was elected because he was black, that came from my nephew. Race played a factor in this; but so did many other things, including the fact conservatives didn;t like McCain. Palin is the only reason Obama didn't win 45 states.
BCE42906 1 year ago
@BCE42906 Except when they're caught at it. Right, cuz we've seen such a surge in jobs over the last few years with those tax cuts. Providing a personal tax break to the rich doesn't make jobs. Providing tax breaks to businesses in specific instances does. You said "even", so I assumed you agreed with him. If that's not the case, then sorry. Palin repelled people, too. If Romney had been the running mate, McCain would have done better. And if he had run a cleaner campaign.

Plus their building designs are top notch.

leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Romney??? not exactly a bastion of conservatism.
KenpoanBjj 1 year ago
@KenpoanBjj Of course he is..... You need to not believe the things that are said about him. I know because I was once like him in relation to abortion for example. I was once personally against it like he was, but also like he believed the state shouldn't get involved, but then we both changed out minds and believed that protection of life was actually one of the states charges. Even Ronald Reagan changed his views on this.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@KenpoanBjj Or, take the health care thing, he attempted to involve the market as well as the state to fix health care, and a lot of it worked, but given that he had to deal with Liberals, he wasn't able to make it perfect, but you can't blaim the guy for trying, and it does do some good etc. There is nothing else that he's not absolutely conservative on, so, I don't see why some are so against him. He's absolutely the best guy for the job at this time. Romney & Allen West the next election.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse there is a difference between the "best man for the job" and the most electible one. I think Zo's suggestion of a Huckaby/Keyes ticket is spot on. I think the nation would think "too much religion" in the White House. I was thinking Paul/Keyes but doubt Keyes would have accepted. Keyes could have been Paul's moral compass...
KenpoanBjj 1 year ago
@KenpoanBjj I think you underestimate people once they actually have the "choice" between them. Paul's not electable, and some of his views go too far. Huckaby is a good guy, but, I think too Evangelical, I think people are tired of Evangelicals in the WH. You get Romney in there and it would be a little like JFK (without the love affair of course), he's the most pro of the bunch. Keye's frankly is a bit too nutty, not electable either. Allen West is way above Keye's. We need the "skills".
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse I am with you on West but Romney is not the guy. he is more of the same...Keye's issue is that he comes across uptight and condescending. If you actually listen to what he says...or if you could read what he says instead of hearing it, he kills it. He destroys Obama in a battle of wits... But I hear what your saying about seeming "nutty". I am looking for a hardcore small gov constitutionalist to turn back the tide of the progressive/socialist movement of the last 100 years.
KenpoanBjj 1 year ago
@KenpoanBjj The only "actual" problem I see with Romney (not the things said about him) is that he can be a little to "stiff", robot like when he's talking, way to "pro" looking rather than natural looking, so that turns some people off. Ya, I know what you're saying about getting back to the good days, I think Romney is a great deal for that, but with a little more balance. Of course, we all want a Reagan back in there, but, Romney is the closest thing to smart and getting things done.

@inlines8master Actually your wrong, actually READ the clause.... Religion shall not be promoted NOR infringed. Such does not make the government, such is simply the people in a pluralistic society.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
Irelevant. Why should the government not be forced to adhere to the rules thy impose on others?
wormer105 1 year ago
Not sure what you mean there. Are you referring to gov't corruption? Because they should be held to the same standard as any other citizen (something we underscore by punishing people found to be corrupt).
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
BNP: The government has never had to obey the standard that is set for religion.
wormer105 1 year ago
You mean, to stay out of government? I imagine that would be pretty tough to do for a governing body.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
BNP: Nope to stay out of our lives in general.
Fact is that religion is allowed in government. It isn't allowed to force others to follow it.
wormer105 1 year ago
Ah, well yes, the gov't does end up interfering in people's lives to some degree or another. Personally, I'd prefer the least interference possible, but I'm also aware that in order to be effective and responsible, gov't has to be able to interfere to a degree (for instance, criminal laws, removing children from abusive homes, etc).
Sure, in the same way that anyone in gov't can have a religion.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
BNP: The government was made to be reactive. Not active.
The government is midigated to three functions. The military, the police, and the judciary.
wormer105 1 year ago
With some very, very limited exceptions, I agree. However, gov't interference tends to actually be reactive anyways (making both our points).
And making the laws that determine the responsibilities of those groups.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
@Bloodninjapirate But not LIMITED.
They are to keep us safe from aggressors not of our nation (military), aggressors of our nation (police), and they need a system to judge those that infringe.
They are also to protect our right as defined but the founders documents.

Oh and that's America with a capital A.
wormer105 1 year ago
"The focus on seperation of church and state was also contextual in that it was spoken in the context of keeping STATE out of religious matters."
That was (mostly) the context (if you're referring to the letter by Jefferson), however, the principle of separation of church and state predated his use of the term. When people colonized America, one of the main reasons they did so was that they wanted no man's religion to be controlling their gov't.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
bnp: Actually the Church of England was rife with corruption due to the presence of government.
That was what they ran from. No they didn't want religion controlling government but that stopped at the government being unable to create a state religion.
wormer105 1 year ago
Due to the nature of religion, any religion sanctioned by the state has significant power over the state. The presence of an official church means that the state's policies will be in line with that sect's teachings, and that if other religious membership is allowed, it will be treated less well (especially back then). When you have religion and gov't working together, the lines between them blur, and their own individual corruption is magnified.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
BNP: Which is why the law is worded like it is.
The FFs never intended for religion to be seperate from government. Simply that the government would never impose a specific belief/religion on the public.
wormer105 1 year ago
And you don't see an inevitability of the gov't enforcing a specific religion's rules and beliefs if religion is not kept separate from gov't? I mean, that's pretty much why everyone gets so gung-ho about keeping them separate.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
BNP: There is no law saying that a government official is not allowed to believe whatever he/she likes.
Everyone is gung-ho to keep them "seperate" because they don't like religion to begin with.
wormer105 1 year ago
Indeed, but there are laws preventing a government official from say, making laws that show a clear bias to one religion or another, or making laws that enforce a religion's strictures on people that do not adhere to that religion (or even people that do).
I couldn't care less about religion (with the exception of Islam), except when people try to use it to justify interfering in other people's personal lives.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
BNP: Yet the government interferes anyway.
wormer105 1 year ago
Sure, and people abuse children, too. The fact that both things happen doesn't make them okay.
Bloodninjapirate 1 year ago
