Oh, and Satan is the 'ruler' of his demons (not to give him acknowledgement or credit) no demon is stronger or more wicked than he is. Demons have personalities in the same way we do. some are more evil than others. Jesus Himself talks about this. Hell has not been closed, YET. Neither Satan nor his demons are 'locked' down there.
@gara You may not have a correct perception of what Hell really is. Try reading the New Testament in greater depth and you will begin to understand. Especially the Gospels and Revelation. Even the Prophets in the Old Testament explain much of the supernatural realm. I'm not trying to insult you at all. Satan uses everything he can to screw with us. @MisterHotShotX i believe Jesus did go to heaven. Matthew 12:39-40 talks about Him being concealed in the heart of the earth. He may have done so to free the righteous people who had been condemned. A lot of crazy things happened when Christ died. The movie doesn't come close. Bible says that earthquakes tore apart stones and many saints were raised from the dead who went into the city and appeared to all. Christ suffered Hell so we did not have to. He didn't ascend until after the resurrection

If he went to Hell, He bore our punishment in every aspect of His being, but returned to Life in a demonstration of victory over Hell. What I thought about when I saw the tear fall out of the sky, was God mourning the death of his son. It almost have God a humanistic quality even though he is far above humanity. Imagine your son being brutally killed and dying. You would cry, but then you would feel anger (the earthquake). God shows us how much he loved his Son and how we should remember that too. To give up your child for the sake of humanity is the hardest thing one can do. The only person that can is God.

I'm pretty sure the reason Satan was screaming is because Christ fulfilled the righteous requirement of the Law of God all the way to His death. Satan could never cause Christ to fail in his mission. Jesus paid the ultimate price to appease the Father on humanity's behalf. He defeated the chains of sin and death and provided THE means of reconciliation to God through His work on the cross. Satan knew he was at that moment defeated and that the Lord had won.

@MisterHotShotX i believe Jesus did go to heaven. Matthew 12:39-40 talks about Him being concealed in the heart of the earth. He may have done so to free the righteous people who had been condemned. A lot of crazy things happened when Christ died. The movie doesn't come close. Bible says that earthquakes tore apart stones and many saints were raised from the dead who went into the city and appeared to all. Christ suffered Hell so we did not have to. He didn't ascend until after the resurrection

If he went to Hell, He bore our punishment in every aspect of His being, but returned to Life in a demonstration of victory over Hell. If He could have done it without Jesus, He would have, I mean it's his son, but there was NO other way. Instead of allowing us to pay, He sent someone else, and it had to be someone who was perfect, who had no sin. That is why his blood cleanes us. His blood saves. Before He died, God couldnt have a relationship with us because of sin, but He sent Jesus, so that He could have.

What I thought about when I saw the tear fall out of the sky, was God mourning the death of his son. It almost have God a humanistic quality even though he is far above humanity. Imagine your son being brutally killed and dying. You would cry, but then you would feel anger (the earthquake). God shows us how much he loved his Son and how we should remember that too. To give up your child for the sake of humanity is the hardest thing one can do. The only person that can is God.

I'm pretty sure the reason Satan was screaming is because Christ fulfilled the righteous requirement of the Law of God all the way to His death. Satan could never cause Christ to fail in his mission. Jesus paid the ultimate price to appease the Father on humanity's behalf. He defeated the chains of sin and death and provided THE means of reconciliation to God through His work on the cross. Satan knew he was at that moment defeated and that the Lord had won.

@PastorPope i don't think that satan has power over those souls. e.g., the bible says hell was made or intended for the demons contrary to popular fiction that south park's satan is ruler of the underworld deriving wicked pleasures from torturing the lost. i think satan deceives people just like the rebellious want others to join them in their cause to ease their consciences. i interpret the screaming as satan being personally confronted with the truth of God's sovereignty, like thePharisees.
