Why the hell do people keep comparing Rise Against to Linkin Park, their versions are done completely different. Linkin Park just sang it, like most of the other versions, but Rise Against decided to do it their way which is fine. But just because they're both rock bands doesn't mean you always have to put them against eachother. Fuck.

All you Rise Against fanatics are the same....seriously, I like their music but would it kill them to change up the damn drum beat every once in a while?! Listen to their songs through the past 3 or 4 albums, it's the same fast pedal beat and then goes into either half time or double time for the chorus....so predictable and uncreative. I like them and all and their songs can get me real pumped up at times, but it's dumb to worship them like their God's gift to rock.

@joshabarnhart yes, thank you. People always try to make one rock band out to be the best music ever like Green Day fans, Weezer fans, or basically any other band. All these bands are good and their music is awesome at times but no ONE band holds a monopoly on cool and no ONE band is awesome with everything they do. some bands change, some take a few albums to find their sound and others lose it after a while, music isn't so simple that one band can reign supreme, it's a bit more complex
