i have the xkey and i go live all the time. this isnt CFW, its a drive emulator. xbox doesnt run security measures for that yet, unless they start picking up on how quick the game loads. the xkey just emulates the disc drive, and fools it into thinking a game is loaded.

this xkey method is not safe dont use u will be banned an xkey is an emulator which is very easy to detect by ms so its up to u but u will be banned no dout not rite away but if u also have the new update u will be detected faster xkex is only for off line use use on line at your own risk (informational stat c4evea ) proved fact is what u just read

Now we just solve the lack of updating the dae.bin On November 17 all XKEY unusable when connecting consoles online and download Microsoft updates seamlessly. That day I install it hard just like 2 hrs.

If u go to the Xkey (unofficial) forums, one of the developers has it posted, it's beta(1.10) though, so don't be surprised if you something goes wrong but it works fine for me so far.

@Ianf927 Xkey's are safe online if you get installation correct. Look for xkey installation video's depending on type of xbox you have got. Stay on top of news, and always look for news if you are being prompted to any type of update on xbox through live service.

@disdeaddone. The black screen is refering to if you dont have this latest update. All games work on the xk3y ALL of them. Its fully functional have had mine for a while yet. And its been a couple months and no reports so far of anyone being banned. Its a risk anyone tasks with a modded 360 and its a risk worth taking.

lol A workaround isn't the same as "defeated". Not by a LONG shot. It's hilarious you'd even have the gall to claim it's defeated.

You can't "defeat" AP2.5 and the use of DAE.bin. All you can hope to do is emulate it as accurately as you can.

@Obid95 If the device is broken then return it under warranty. However if what you mean is that the xk3y cannot play certain games due to an MS update then you're crap out of luck. You know (or should have known) exactly what you were getting into when you do these mods ... at any point in time you might get detected or have your mod rendered useless due to an update. That's the risk and people shouldn't be whinging about it.
