please don't compare the great intellegence of the heelers to any other breed, they are the hardest working dog of all breeds. until you and one heeler bring in a hundred head of mother cows with calfs, 50-150 miles from the catch pens, you wouldn't have a inkling of just how great the heeler breed is!!!!!!!!!!

@biginbonsall Thank You very much. We have 6 dogs in all, two of which were rescues. They will be our pets for life. We don't throw precious lives away. We give them all the love they needed a full belly and a warm bed. The rewards they give us are huge! Endless devotion. That makes us both smile.

@Seabreeze32246 I just named her that because the real Skidboot was such a marvelous dog. Nothing more than that. I never expected her to fill any expectations of being like the real Skidboot. She just had a rough start in life and made it through 118 degree weather on the streets of Phoenix as someone's throw away dog, which in my eyes makes her a special dog.Se we gave her a special name.
