@sqhzaidi Thanks, Qasim Bhasi for the forward, and Mirzaji , for the upload. What depth of feeling Khayyam and Moh' d Rafi infused into this ghazal !. The tempo is slow as it should be for such plaintive songs. Listening once is not enough.
Daag has two accomplished artists to give the most beautiful expression to his poetry here: Khayyam as composer and Rafi as singer. The duo has created a piece of excellence.
Wow! Mirza Jee. Kyah khoob cheez paysh ki hai. Very well sung and beautifully composed, this gem is absolute a collective item.

anands76, aapne bilkul sahi farmaya. Yeh Ghazal Dagh Dehelvi ki hi hai, jismein taqreeban eik darjan ashaar haiN. Iska maqta yeh hai:
Baneiga mehr'e qayamat bhi eik khaal'e siyaah
Jo cHehra, Dagh'e siyah ruu ne aashkaar kiya
Eik khoobsoorat ghazal aur mashoor kar deine waali aawaz.

This ghazal is by Daag Dehlvi and not by Mirza Ghalib.
