  • fuck me Mazda, this video *almost* made me want the G over the D.

  • cool!

  • "Nothing they did was new" Did you miss the whole point? They took the existing 2.0 and improved it. The 2.0 was their engine so all the improvements they made they had to develop. The concepts aren't new but they made it work. They reduced friction internally which is obviously new. It had never been done before on their engine. Stop complaining. If you don't like Mazda then don't spend time spamming their videos. It's your loss if you buy from another car make.

  • good job...I just wish the horsepower was higher

  • Actually EVERYTHING they mentioned is nothing new.

  • @zlightning THANK YOU!!!! I am glad someone here gets it. People have no clue about engines or how they work so they fall into this marketing crap and believe Mazda figured out something incrediable LOL... Gag me

  • I won't buy a Mazda now that they advertise on MSNBC. BOYCOTT MAZDA!

  • @ldelfrate Of course they're going to advertise on MSNBC now that they have a 40MPG "green" vehicle lol, it would be stupid not to :P

  • i want your engine

  • With the lack of ~40mpg hatchbacks on the market (that aren't tiny and ugly), I'm so glad the Mazda3 5-door can finally do it, so I don't have to settle for a Chevy Cruze or Hyundai Elantra sedan. I'm probably buying one next year.

  • zlightning-------------I guess thats why there are over 250 patents pending on skyactiv

"it,s nothing new" good luck in your toyota or honda sales------------

  • Nice. I'm diggin' the tuners and engineers at Mazda. Now please start working on a SKYACTIV Rotary engine!

  • @MassiveJetGrind This Skyactive marketing scheme is worthless. They just listed ALL the obvious ways to improve power and save gas... You're telling me it took enegineers to figure out something that most averages joes already knew?? This attempt from mazda just pisses me off more about gas efficiency. SHOW us something we already didn't know.

  • [Other car companies]- ".... Good game guys, we lose, lets go home"

  • @DaznRicboi Except other companies are doing the same things (or already have) to their engines. Their piston design is really unique though.
