@VanillaSkyPoet The truth is that none of what we see in the modern dressage respect the morphology of horses. All of this end up with long term consequences on the horse health. Someone please tell me if FEI standards for extended trot are different than USDF standards. The USDF standard states that the hind feet should land well forward of where the front foot on the same side lands. The slow motion of the extended trot here shows clearly that the hind feet are landing well behind the prints from the front feet -- i.e., NOT true extensions, just big movement in the front end. It's not just this mare that does it either, it's ALL the GP horses these days.

It was Sisther herself who was 7th in World Cup Young Horses in 2005 at Verden
