@rocklikebrucelee - easy tone - try a cranked marshall jcm amp tone - with lots of mids and treble dialled in - not sure what gear u got but u can use any sort of modeller line 6 etc...and for the first part roll the volume back off ur guitar for that mildy dirty clean tone, then crank it up on the volume for the overdrive part and add in a wah pedal which is 'half cocked' that shoudl get u in the ball park. hope it helps a tad.

bend with 3rd finger, but use 1st nd 2nd behind it to help and bend thum round neck to get full leverage :D

@dertysouthside the bend is a sort of 'release bend' - i find it works well if u have the string already bent up a step - then strike the string and release the bend back down - it gives that 'falling down' sound more accurately imho than if u do the bend 'up' then 'down' ...if u do it correctly it sounds really nice....zakk goes up and down witht he bend but the bend up is really quick with a slow release down.

Trying pre- bending it up,(i had the same problem) bend the string up (without striking it) than play the note while slowly bring the string down. do it 6 times i believe and it should sound perfect =D
