I can clearly hear him pronounce "Sadame" but but when I look up the Kanji written there, it reads "Shukumei." Why is this?

It could be a stylistic change. I've seen sadame written as 運命 and 宿命, both of which mean fate / destiny. It would normally be written as 定め, and its meaning can range from a regulation or decision to, once again, fate. Maybe they wanted to give it an absolute meaning in his quote. It's also possible that they changed it to match the kanji-based concepts in the rest of his quote, which have no hiragana.

The Montage refers to Cybuster, if you look Carefully you can see Granzon and a scene with Cybuster fighting Granzon. There's also a scene with Cybuster falling, gravely damaged. I believe the women represent two things, their clothes (being black and white) represent Kuro and Shiro. The women themselves represent Ryune and that girl in La Gias (forgot her name). Thus representing those closest to Masaki.

That's not really what the attack is called. I just said that because I thought it was funny. As for what he does for the attack, apparently he traps his foe inside some sort of energy field inside which the enemy is assaulted by what I refer to as "the darkness of Asakim's sins." Then, he proceeds to asplode everything.

Funny, I've just used Cybuster to drop some damage, then send in weaker mechs to finish off the enemy. Most times, I find myself letting it get obliterated so I can save the Valsione. Maybe I should rethink my tactics...then again, Valsione is cute..

In OG they'll probably have the origional Masaki fight Asakim, because now that Shu is dead he needs someone to chase and be pissed at. I can imagine Asakim trashing La Gias, Masaki fighting him while Asakim says something like, I AM you! Plus we need the old Masoukishin machines back and that makes a perfect story. Since it's OG, they could have Cobray erase him with infinity cylinder, thats the only thing I can think of that would kill him

Asakim states that only a person with a sphere can kill him, which is his entire motivation. He helps Rand so his betrayal will hurt more since his sphere is powered by pain. He kills everyone around Setsuko because Sadness powers her sphere.

In addition a sphere is a cosmic key that allows dimensional transport and makes the wielder unique in the multiverse, which suggests that Cobray might already have a sphere.

I understand that if the wielder of a sphere dies (Which is very hard to do if it's active) then the sphere passes on. The truth behind the spheres is unclear but there are 12 and apparently are the main control keys to the SRW-verse as a whole, if Dark Brain is to be believed.

My favorite theory is that they're all mech parts for a literal God machine, the Gunleon has an AI, the Balgora a hand weapon, and the Shurogora a transformation ability. Combine them all and...

I can see him teleporting and being seperated from his mech in the process so he steals Cybuster and Masaki uses Jahom for the begining of the game bringing back the Elemental origionals. The obvious place to look for Shurouga is in La Gias, so he trashes the place. He finds it, but you kick Cybuster's ass before he can get it. After the fight, he leaves Cybuster behind and goes for Shurouga. Then he goes about trying to die, tortureing Setsuko and replaceing Shu as Masaki's rival.

Masaki already has a future Masoukishin story they can use, the SNES Masoukishin game has a segment after Shuu dies in SRW3. Shuu dies at the end of OGG. In addition Cybuster is blessed by the spirit of the wind, Cyfis. If the pilot doesn't have the permission of this spirit it doesn't function. In addition Asakim's dialogue suggests he was formerly a parallel of Masaki who committed an irredeemable act and was damned for it, I doubt he'd go and ransack his old home no matter what he is now.

I think that, if this guy appears on OG (and that would be fucking epic) he would be a Masaki from another dimension future where in the past, that would be OG3, Masaki loss a lot and did bad things (in order to save something, i think), but I don't think that he is the "original" Masaki we know.

If I recall correctly, the only enemy to come from another dimension was the Shadow-Mirrors, as neither Aerogaters, nor Einst nor Inspectors come from another dimension (Einst could be debatable, but Shadow-Mirrors had their own Einst invasion, so they do not come from other dimension at all, as every "dimension" would have their own Einst), I don't know 'bout the Shura-things, I just started playing Gaiden, but I don't think they're from another dimension neither.

And if you look carefully at the animations during Ley Buster, you'll see familiar things like; Two women wearing black and white (Shiro and Kuro?), two mechs fighting (Granzon and Cybuster?)

And not to Mention Asakim and Masaki? Take the M at the end of Asakim and move it to the front and you get Masaki =P

That, and the fact that everything about Shurouga makes it seem like a sort of "Dark Cybuster". Dis Calibur being an evil version of Zephyr Sword, those crows basically being a goth High Familiar, right down to flying through a runic circle in a form that looks like the Cybird (Cybuster's bird-like "jet mode") during his Ley Buster, similar to Akashic Buster. (And, for that matter, the names mean pretty much the same thing.)

If this guy isn't Masaki, he was obviously at least BASED on him.
