  • i think i'm gonna cry

  • Better than the Royle wedding in the uk. This has more meaning. Good luck from Ireland.

  • that's the best 80's classic ever! hahahaha love it

  • Used to watch this show fanatically every evening, didn't care about homework as long as I watched neighbours

  • Kylieeeeeeeeeee and Jaaaasooooooooooooon where are you the show is not the same without

you. :( :( :( , since this wedding on Neighbours there's never been another one or as beautiful

    as Charlene and Scott.

  • Best Song <3

  • whats insane is that i still cry watching this!

  • Right here's my thought. This guy is called Angry Anderson, and he's made one of the softest/cheesiest pop songs ever. His name and the song dont really match

  • I touched my front bottom over this beautiful music.

  • @28steryan we all did

  • Anybody think Des looks like Jimmy Nail?

  • Why does mrs. mangel look wistfully at Harold? What's on her mind?

  • takes me right back , im 46 now and was about 25, 26 ish i loved it then and still do , the song is so right for this video and yes i still cry , what a way to get married

  • Someone get me a Basin quick

  • bloody hell, tears in my eyes!!

  • @falmouth2011 I know!!! It's sad to see Ann Haddy, a real lady may she RIP. Who is the lady beside her at 1:55?

  • @criochnaithe It was Rosemary Daniel (Robinson, I think). She is supposed to be Paul's sister.

  • @criochnaithe it's Hilary Robinson

  • @AidanofLFC1 Thanks Aidan, that's her!

  • from Ireland.. loved every moment brings me back.. the songs amazing..

  • God this video makes me feel old. To me this only seems like I was watching it last week. And to think that I am 37 and I am not married yet.

And everybody that I went to school with, they are married. and has kids.

Life never turns out the way you want it-does it?

As the Psalm says " Have I kept my heart and my hands pure for nothing"

Well I can tell you, it bloody well feels like it.

Still clips like that make you feel nostalgic. As Goldfrapp sings " I'm dreaming of another time"

  • such a great song to one of the most watched weddings of the 80's

  • omg that takes me back - fantastic

  • If I get hitched. This is what will be played

  • *Sharp intake of breath* Mrs Mangel was in love with Harold!

  • Good job nobody stopped for a smoke with all that hairspray around

  • The vicar is the pervy Mr Fry from Prisoner!!!!

  • nice hairdo paul... :D

  • OK, I plan to DL this for my sisters wedding, so which season, which episode? Anyone?

  • can someone tell me what year this was??

  • I wonder how many 80s marriages ended up in divorce. If the "love" that bonds us is so strong why then does "lust" get in the way. When we mistakenly assume that there is a "use by date" and look for younger partners? Are we simply apes with primal physical urges? or are we intelligent human beings who genuinely look for love? ..... Maybe Kylie Minougue has already answered this question by not falling for the trap in getting married.

  • @Stealthkeys77 shut up nutball -can you just enjoy the clip and let others do the same?! bitter much

  • @aastrid25 ..... dont get your knickers caught in a knot you dumb mole.

  • Des - what a flashback - the pioneer of plastic surgery - well he used blue tac to pin his ridiculous ears back!

  • mrs Mangle!

  • This was when back in the day, Neighbours was kicking Coronation street and eastenders arses in the ratings.

Now, Neighbours is hardly even the topic of discussion in the UK today.

  • LOVED this episode, remember when it aired. Not afraid to admit it brings tears to the eyes watching it now. I loved Neighbours between 87 - 90.

  • Guy Pearce...corrrr!!! lol xx

  • Plain Jane Superbrain looking good.

  • Awww I loved Madge!!

  • Oh my god, I've not watched this since it was actually aired and am crying like I actually knew them! Hahaaha! (Sob sob.) - The best laughter is through tears.

  • you know there were plenty of teen couples that got married and were the couples of neighbours but neighbours was stupid enough to kill them off eg. didge and dec after everything they went through and having a baby at 17 they killed didge off aand then ringo and donna they killed ringo off.... cmon neighbours u try to get views and now all uve done is lost them

  • cheesefest1987! Love this , what memories. The golden era of the soap

  • bet he couldnt wait to see her amazing arse and tits

  • Yihaaa! Neighbours in it's glory days. Now I only watch it when I'm home and there is nothing else on, but I do miss the times of Jim, Helen, Max Ramsey, Doctor Clive, Des, Paul (although he is back), first Scott, second Scott (Jason), Charlene, Madge, Daphne, and the one Paul is looking at, but I can't remember her character :-)-) When soap was still worth watching!

  • When Neighbours was worth watching!

  • PAUL ROBINSON!!

  • just realized that it was 24 years since the wedding i was still at school i am 41 now damm i am getting old

  • Does anybody know in which episode the proposal was?

  • Neighbours at its very best!

  • #OMG that perm

Eat your heart out Kevin Keegan

  • @4theluzl not to mention the PASH!!

  • guy pearce left neighbors and went on to be a movie star.

  • I miss Neighbours. The programme (and H&A) that made all UK kids want to visit Oz. Best tourism promotion ever.

  • This is just pure CLASSIC :D I want Jason and Kylie back as Scott and Charlene!

  • @heidos7 I think if they asked him Jason Donovan would go back to his role as Scott, he hasn't done much since he left apart from starring in Joseph and his Dreamcoat, and a couple of other bits.

  • @RichXbox360 Yeah :)

  • cool being an ozzy lol...

  • See what happens when you live in a court called a street. You have no friends, look at the church, its empty :P

  • @SuperGravey Many people like low key weddings. That's why many go off abroad to do it.

  • that kiss was a bit obscene lol

  • tarsey 1977 because ur a hopeless romantic lol

  • I didn't realise Daphne was still around for this!

Oh, and surely they could of gotten some more extra to fill the church to make it look like Scott & Charlene ACTUALLY had friends!!!

  • am i the only one who thinks plain jane was stunning my god she was hot!!!

  • @davesdolphins06 . no i agree with you a 1000% she was hot hot hot

  • @davesdolphins06 She was never plain in my eyes. She was gorgeous!

  • I have all of the neighbours episodes on blu-ray 1985-1995

  • wow what memories this brings back.... it made my day watching neighbours !!! great video!!!

  • Charlen was great. Pity that chick didn't go on with it in acting.

  • classic tv! still my favourite soap wedding to date..... mrs mangle looking longingly at harold was priceless :)

  • i love that song

  • Don't know why, but I have tears rolling down my face after watching this!

  • Jane is much hotter than Charlene

  • 20-something years later and... Jesus, I fancy Jim Robinson

  • this should be burnt and never shown again

  • @JOKER199g But still a guilty pleasure!

  • Damn you Charles Widmore 2:14

  • Absolute TV GOLD

  • they were so young on this Neighbours episode, so was I when married at only 19, never forget how nervous i felt that day, no longer married, but will never forget that day.

  • Jason Donavan said Kylie was the best shag he ever had!

  • how do i download this ????? anyone ???? xx

  • @mandyb802 keepvid dot com

  • OMG I loved this so much!! I was about 7 or 8 when this happened but I remember it like it was just yesterday. Best soap marriage EVER!!!! I wish I could go back to the the glorious '80's. Everything was so much better back then.......no mortgage, bills etc lol but seriously the music knocks the socks off the shit produced today. I heart Scott and Charlene!!!

  • The memories!!! Why dont we get TV like this anymore??? What has happened to this world?

  • happy times I so remember this x

  • Sniff, quiver, weep, sob, bawl etc. Both then and now. Christ, I need to man up!

  • 25 Years of "Neighbours", and Ringo (aka Sam Clark), has used this song as the theme for His Wedding to Donna. Sam has even recorded his own version, though could not find any video. Not available yet??. Well done "Neighbours", for another great storyline.

Scott, Charlene, Mike, Helen, Jim, Madge, Jane, Lucy, Henry, Mrs Mangel , Harold, Des, Daphne, Gail, Hilary, Paul - what a bunch of good characters from a great era. I would rather watch this than the C**p that is Neighbours nowadays.
