@Cosima1971 I read in a magazine after the accident with the Pepsi commercial, that Michael was boiling mad at his mother and his brothers because his brothers wanted him to do the commercial, and he didn't want to do it. He said that he didn't drink Pepsi, so he didn't want to promote it. His brothers went Mrs Jackson (their moher).
@Cosima1971 and asked her if she would talk to Michael; his brothers needed the money from the commercial, but Michael didn't. He agreed to do the commercial after his mother begged him to do it, then look what happened! The article said that Michael was seething at his brothers and mother for what happened to him.
In J Randy Tarraborrelli's book on Michael he says that Michael was totally against the deal with Pepsi and instead wanted to be sponsered by a healthy oatmeal company. He was on a microbiotic health diet at the time to help clear up his skin.
