Please never try to remove a key from your apple keyboad!!!! The key easily breaks! Apple can't replace one key and has to replace your whole upper part of your laptop, which costs a small 300 euros.

It's a german keyboard layout.

In german the Z is far more common than the Y, thats why it was changed.

The more annoying thing is, that lots of the symbols changed place as well, because stuff like "ä", "ü", "ö" and "ß" needet to go somewhere.

Getting the z=y thing right when switching keyboards isn't that difficult, but all dashes, dots and brackets in different places really is confusing.

You shouldn't use too many force..

Just take a closer look how the mechanism works, by viewing underneath the Keycap: You have to stick the small plastic pin out of the little metall hole where it's put in.

@iva2mp WOW i feel like such an idiot now, I looked closely and there was two holes for the delete key hooks to go into, and i put in in there and BAM perfect... i subbed and liked!
