Well realistically, it was because he was incredibly broken in R and he's stealing the spotlight because he's the token bishie. But honestly, it's because he's the SEGA equivalent of the fucking little prick Ash Crimson from KOF. I thought VF was too good to resort to such characters :(
@DaELFGokulio I'm not privileged enough to have played the game but...the guy just looked badass! I know hes a 'bishie' but I dont think he's a token one. Virtua Fighters on a whole seem a little bland (still I luv Akira though) but the J6 ones look really cool. I also happen 2 like Ash Crimson too but I can understand why people dont. Jean fighting style is very different to Ash's though. Respect your opinion never the less.

You know what, even though I do not agree with you, because you didn't went all fanboi on me and gave me your side in a reasonable matter, I respect you. Also, don't put down the VF cast, they're not as bland as you think (Kage, Jacky, Jeffrey and El Blaze comes to mind)
@DaELFGokulio Well the cast seems bland to me, personality wise, (Pai, Taka, Aoi, Sarah, Kage), especially when compare to other fighting games. I know VF Fighters do they 'taking' through there fighting.
As a black man, Jeffrey just pisses me off. Goes out of this way to sounds like a retard. I would like him otherwise. I do think Kage is abit bland its mainly his outfit in VF5 i dont like. Looked but better in VF4. As for Jean, bishie? Brad, maybe? Well, I dont see it as a bad thing.
