  • nice man, good advice!

    x

  • Thanks this is a very good tutorial ! :)

  • Thanks it helped me out alot!

  • nice man. very smooth technique

  • i like this video even though i knew every thing you where saying already

  • oops this is my brothers account this is from ddarkprince btw

  • your the only person who has ever made sense and given tips on rotation, i will try what you said your the best man, i will film it and show you my progress. hopefully my back will be better then his now thanks to you, my only tip i can give you which you already probably know is use your chest or put emphasis on your chest to get more height some top guys told me that

  • any tips on increased rotation, how do you tuck with force do you use your abbs, i can jump higher then my brother but i can land on my feet, while he jumps lower but because his fast rotation he makes it

  • @Ddarkprince I found this problem when learning wall flips. I managed to solve the problem by practising until I found the level of lean backwards which would allow me to SNAP my tuck in and therefore rotate quickly. If u jump straight up it is very hard to get the tuck to give you good rotation. As you practise more and more you will be able to go up straighter and straigher and therefore your height will improve. Give a little lean backwards and snap in the tuck. mst of all keep practising =)

  • thanks

  • nice tutorial.

but it's a dangerous move,if you can't land right, your neck can be broken,so don't try this on hard grounds.

  • Hey great back summy.

Could you help, when I back somersault I dont go backwards, which isnt great when doing flips off things.

    Help?

  • @ANTARCTICSHEEP can you do them on the floor then?

If you can then you have no worries at all it just means your getting maximum height.

if not then just try and lean back slightly on the take off. maybe get a spotter and try it into a foam pit first

  • @rossgarwood Thank you. Yeah I couldnt do standing back somersaults then. Learning them now. But this video helped a lot doing them off objects :)

  • @PerseusHero mainly because alot of people who i have met refer to a back handspring as a backflip. Calling it a back somersault avoids confusion =)

  • i cant do a back somersault on the trampolining :( its so frustrating! ive been doing it with a coach holding my hand and guiding me over but i still cant do it! i must have been doing it for about 4 weeks now and i cant do it :'(

  • I've done trampolining in the past and if u upload a video I will take a look if you want.

The main things on a trampoline r 1) don;t be scared of going over your head. if your not scared then you will stay straight.

    2) rotate using your hips but don't think that you shouldn't throw back a little bit if your worried about not getting fully over.

    3) don't be put off by not landing first time.

All the people i have taut fail before they get it. so don;t worry about making it perfect first time.

  • okay thankyou i am going to the gym tomorrow so i will try and get some footage then :) x

  • because trampolines are horrible----got to gym.

  • how do you go straight back i always turn to the side

  • Thats about not wanting to go over your head at the last minute. try going into the foam pit and making the effort to go straight with you knees over your head first.

Also trying to do it with more control and less vigor could help

  • I'll try it too thnx.Somersaults are great!

  • thanks man great tutorial, ill try that at gym 2moro :)

  • get a video and post it as a responce =) be nice to see if this managed to help you

  • alrite i will :) will see if i can get one on some time next week. cheers

  • Can you watch my backflip (Video Response) and tell me any tips on how to improve mine. p.s The backflips in my vid are the first ones i ever done :D

  • Great tut. I still don't understand how u can doing back so hiiiigh

  • nice man! good stuff! train soon!

  • cheers this helps
