I met Ustad-e Bozorgwar, when I was just a teenager. I went to Radio Afghanistan just to see him. I loved his guitar plays, great songs (Ze gham-e kasay halakam--Shaneedam kay choon qooyay zayba--Saqee raka de sro labo jam...). Ustad greated me with his unique and charming personaltiy. He encouraged me to play guitar. While Afghans have only heard his voice, I had the opportunities to shake his hand. What a wonderful gentleman!! Ustad-e GUL, you are always in my mind. There isn't another you.
