This game is Garry's Mod which you can buy via Steam. Garry's Mod (or Gmod) is a huge sandbox which uses components from games which are running on the source engine like Half Life 2, Counter Strike Source and Team Fortress 2. Then you can weld all the stuff together, add guns, thrusters and so on and make stuff like this Space ship... quite easy... :D

I HATE to ask this, but how did you get the thrusters to push it so well? When I make things no where NEAR that bis and put a few thrusters on it with their settings above the slider max thrust, it still inches along. I've even tried using weight tool to stop it, it didn't help...

Using the Advanced Duplicator, save the ship design in a file (ship.txt). Then go to your lua folder, search for ship.txt, and note the location. then zip it in a file, including paths, and provide that for download :).

I make some that are about 5-6 times the size and only use thrusters. No hoverballs. It can reach relative speeds of 10000 units. The cockpit holds about 10-20 people and a large tracker turret is on top. The cockpit has my own special panel that puts out info. regarding

-Altitude

-Speed

-Distance to Ground

-Target Distance

-Warp Time

-Altitude Safety Percentage

-And also fully working holoradar.

I'll be putting it up soon, but however, I will not allow people to dupe it.

When you download the content you have to unzip it to the correct location, which is in the program files, source, sourcemods, gmod somewhere there, sorry but thats just off the top of my head, my pc with gmod died.

Gmod 10 doesnt work, but GMOD9 does. When i click Launch in steam, it launches it, but shows a black screen. The backround image pops up for .5 seconds or so, then goes back 2 a black screen. If i move my mouse around, i can hear the sound effects it makes on the menu. Any explanation?

sounds like a conflict between 9 and 10 or a graphics error. See if your system specs are good and try uninstalling 9 then installing 10.

Oh I had this problem you just go into Gmod10's properites and then select set launch options then you type -dxlevel 70 into the space then you press close then you play Gmod. Hop I help you.

Also your Gmod won't look like wat It's sposed to unless you get graphics card. But it will still work. And if you do get graphics card just delete the -dxlevel 70 thing.

yes, that is how I made the ship go from above the camera to below it. You can set the raise and lower of the hover balls to for instance numpad + and -.

I know the pod stuff, but if your not in a pod, will it slide you off in gmod 10? i have gmod 9

yeah, that's just how it happens. You gotta use a pod or some other sort of vehicle to stay put. If you don't want the pod to be visible you can just color it translucent. I have a few funny vehicles I made using that method, lol.

On GMOD 10, could you actually ride that, or would it slide you off and/or hurt you? GMOD9 works for my PC but gmod10 doesnt. Make sure you press reply to this comment

anyway, you could ride a shop in Gmod 9. The way I do it is put a Pod Vehicle inside the vehicle somewhere, in fact, I have one inside that ship I'm just outside of it to create this video.

it's all in balance of the objects youre using and the hover balls. You can't see them on that ship because I colored them translucent, then make sure if you put one booster on the far left make one at about the same place on the far right. Just gotta keep tinkering with it.
