@DevilWithoutaCuase Monser Ock belongs to Activision as their own creation. Venom and Carnage were supposed to be in the game but Quesada said they were "overplayed". Nemesis is in the expansion. Not sure why Captain universe isn't in there though. (or why Wolverine's son isn't either)

Sega was in the middle of making a 'Special Edition' for Sega CD. The intro movie was finished and advertised in Sega Visions, sadly, the team developing it (the legendary Blue Sky Software) scrapped it at 80% done with the death of the Sega CD, it's source code was lost when Sega lost their source code for all System-CD and System-16 games.

It was a MA-17 rated game, full blood and pre-rendered models. The entire album of "333" by Green Jelly was the soundtrack

They are too busy ruining Spider-Man by having him make deals with the devil. But I agree. If they could retcon things back to the real status quo (instead of their horrible obsession with Spider-Man permanently living out his college life), it would be nice if they could get Carnage back.

I thought his death was so anti-climactic in New Avengers. Especially by having it happen at the hands of The Sentry. Did they really need Carnage to job to the Sentry? He is just a Superman clone.

Have you ever read the first Spider-Man/Batman crossover story, "Disordered Minds", mate? That featured the Joker and Carnage finally meeting and they had SUCH AWESOME interaction. It's one of the best crossovers ever because of the writing and Mark Bagley's artwork.

There was a second team-up of Spider-Man and Batman, but the villains in that story were the Kingpin and Ra's Al Ghul. The plot featured the Kingpin's wife Vanessa dying from terminal cancer and Ra's Al Ghul offering the elusive cure in exchange for his help in creating an earthquake that would level New York. Like the first crossover, this had faultless interaction and such brilliant depth. IMO, it's equally good as the first team-up.

It's in Crossover Classics vol. 4. Worth getting.
