george chuvalo probably had the best chin -- he was hit with bombs by greats like smokin joe, foreman, ali, patterson, quarry. he never went down, and i'm not even sure he was ever wobbled.
@SUZI1990ful stung, hurt a bit, yes. but by wobble i mean on the verge of going down. perhaps my memory is misleading me, but if there are some video clips showing george chuvalo wobbling on his feet, let me know.

I'd call that a lot worse than being "stung" or hurt "a bit". And Chuvalo was knocked down by Foreman ..it was just the ropes that held him up. It happened in the 3rd (and last) round of their fight about 30 seconds before the referee mercifillly stopped it. Watch these fights yourself, they're both on youtube.
@SUZI1990ful we have a semantic issue here. boxinggramm asked if anyone had a "better chin" than cobb. i suggested chuvalo. the word was chin, not orbital bone of the eye. everyone knows smokin joe shattered george's eye, and that joe was dominating the fight. but chuvalo was not knocked semi-conscious or 'wobbly' during that fight. nor was he in that state against big george foreman. i've rewatched the round, and don't see chuvalo staggering or semi-conscious. wobbly: foreman vs lyle
