No you cannot get 3G on t-mobile unlocked/jailbroken iphone. The frequency between at&t and tmobile are different. NOT POSSIBLE

I got my internet working for a couple days, now when i try to get in, it's not letting me. T-mobile site pops up and says i'll need a webConnect plan to use with my device. HELP. what do I do? I tried different apn and it dont work either.

I would restore and qwkpwn and redsn0w and all that stuff again. Then see where your at regarding the availability of the APN feature. If it's not there, follow the steps in this video and download the custom APN, put in the correct information and restart your phone. I litterally JUST did this to one of my 3G's and it worked perfectly. Just make sure you have a data plan, or you're going to get insane monthly charges.

You do not need the hack anymore. I wouldn't even recommend going through this process with 3.0 coming out soon.

You do NOT need the tzones hack anymore, so go through the steps, just skip the tzones/cydia part.

It does work. At this point in the game you dont even need the tzones hack, or go to the website to create your own APN. You can just goto settings, general, network, cellular data network and type in epc.tmobile . com in your apn and then restart your phone, that works now on 2.2.1

You can't get tzones on 2.2.1 but you don't need it... I am currently using my iphone 3g (2.2.1) and I just did what he said without tzones hack and it works to perfection.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure if it will. I'd definitely try to use the APN Changer, Then once that is done, turn off the phone, turn it back on and check it out. I'd assume that you would need the tzone hack... :S

Just say that you want to add a Data Plan to your service plan. There is no reason why they would even ask, "are you using an iphone?" If they did, just say your using a blackberry. You'll need to get a data plan for YOUR specific bill.
