@vitekjc btw, Gringo is latin slang for Americans ( north americans, to be precise) It's a compound word, as you people call it. Grin= Green, the color of the U.S. army uniform. and go is literary go, as in get the hell out. The reason Hispanics, in particular Caribbean Hispanics use this term is because back in the day when your founding fathers invaded the islands we knew little to no English. We knew colors and certain verbs.
