  • @Phillissy OMG i know, right!

  • She is TOO skinny

  • aahh jelous of your body

  • u cant LEARN ballet froma video u cant do anything from a video on ballet if u wanna learn ballet and i mean REAL ballet go to a prop ballet school and learn there! u cant do anything until u try it

  • @jekaroxssss u can though use this videos to help u improve... I alsoo dance ballet but I like to see their techniques just to know whatt can I incorporated to mine

  • Dear Michelle,

Please stop saying 'Duh vahnt' like a stupid ignorant american. Learn where the origin comes from and try to say it correctly. You sound like an idiot.

  • @brooklynboyee When a foreign word comes over to a different country and becomes part of their own vocabulary, it is unnecessary to maintain original pronunciation.

  • This is an en dehors pirouette, guys. Not a fouette.

  • @KitseeFoo No, it's not. It's a fouette. The same term is used for different types of "whipping" movements.

  • This is an en dehors pirouette, guys. Not a fouette.

  • ...they should have named the video more precise

  • the video title doesnt say foutte turn pple... it says foutte

  • that's not fouette

  • @alex4encetooo yes it is.

  • @TayloTv

Is that so ? Well maybe i should emigrate then :)

Don't worry 2 much about the trollyhaters, they don't rly hate U, they prolly don't even watch ur videos, they're like kids on the playground hitting U cuz they secretly have a crush on U ,,,unlike me who just admits it <3:)

I love the ballet btw < gay ?:)

  • @TayloTv

Book a room in the facebook hotel old woman, this is jungle-tube :)

  • This is a fouttee....

  • You look like a bitch. Js.

  • umm guys... there are DIFFERENT TYPES OF FOUETTES. so no need to freak out...

  • Her name is Michelle Merrel and an instructer there at the academy of balley arts xD

  • she might just be the most horrible dancer I've ever seen in my entire career

  • @cutiepaige101 read the description..

  • Isn't this a tour jete?

  • @fizzydrinkmixer No it's not. A tour jete switches from one leg to another. A fouette saute doesn't! =]

  • This is a fouette. The video does not say How to Do the Fouette turn in ballet dancining. It says How to Do a Fouette in ballet dancing. READ

  • that is a fouette, it's more common in ballet. Most of you are thinking of fouette turns common in jazz and modern dance.

  • woow her body :O

    she is so pretty!!

  • @meluvsk8 i love her legs...

  • guys that is a fouette. not a fouette turn, but fouette saute. gosh.

  • 1. THAT'S MY TEACHER!!

    2. That is a fouette! It's just not the kind your thinking of.

    3. THAT'S MY TEACHER!!

  • idiots........ That is a fouette! People these days.

  • Yes. It is a fouette >.> The title says nothing about "fouette-turn. "What she did was a "fouette saute" and "fouette releve" Perfectly legitimate. Relax and go learn some more ballet terms!

  • whoa she looks tall

  • This is a fouette! You people who think a fouette is a turn are stupid! It would be called fouette turns or fouettes en tournant if it were a turn!

  • its a fouette people! a fouette TURN is when u spin

  • Lets say... Don't go to Ehow for directions on ballet or anything. These are amateurs! If you REALLY want to know how to do ballet steps at home, look up professional dancers such as Natalia Osipova, Polina Seminoiva, Cynthia Gregory, and many more! Find the ballerina you like and idol them!! Thats a fellow ballerinas advice for ya! ;) :D ~thanks! 0Danceratheart0

  • Boo!!!!!!!! Why is this woman teaching people wrong? Do not listen to her.

  • It is actually a fouette. Many people confuse a "fouette-turn" with the pirouette that includes a fouette movement. (A lot of people on youtube do so too) So she is doing the right thing.

  • Not a fouette!

  • i thot u were going to teach me how to master a fouette turn lols

  • This video was about how to do a fouette. She didn't do anything that related to doing a fouette.

  • Good pedagogic idea

  • i love your body!!!

  • she is really good but there is some mistakes that could do harm to her body when she gets older.

  • @Ballet101GISELLE Yes really good , but please tell us what are the mistakes which may harm later on and why? thanks

  • for a teacher, not the right technique !in the preparation, the arms never move beyond the back.....etc.

  • keep your hip down! its bugging me!

  • lol why isitso hard to keep up your leg even thought you CAN do a split?????

  • @cheerndancebaby its about strength, not flexibility. gravity pulls your leg down.

  • @cheerndancebaby Because you need both strenght from your glutes AND your back in order to hold that leg up

  • you arent even pronouncing the word right!!

  • she has beautiful technique but doesn't seem to have enough muscle to hold her leg up.

  • @xsheisthesunx Yeah. At the beginning, she can quickly develope to the side but she can't hold her arabesque higher than 90 degrees without looking like she's struggling.

  • Her hips are not in it's place

  • Is it just me or did she lean her torso waay to much forward at the arabesque?

  • @TheFairydusters Yeah I think it might be because she doesn't have enough back strength. It looks awkward when she tries to lift her leg higher but she has really pretty arches.

  • Wow, that was great. She's nearly as skinny as rhythmic gymnast Victoria Mazur! You should see her.

  • beautiful chick

  • Man these guys sure hate French

  • your a beautiful dancer

  • her body wow i want !

  • we did this at the end of r dance for r recital and i was practising in the dressing room and i slipped and fell right on my hip ouchy!! and we were preforming kinda soon to! not fun but these r really easy and pretty with a flowy skirt!

  • thank yoou thank you thank you!! i was having trouble with my fouettes but now i got it !!!

  • english plzz

  • Ballet people are so skinny and pretty :v I love it XD

  • I always end up falling over :( I just can't stay on balance, can anyone help me with this ?

  • this is a fouette, just not a fouette TURN.

  • hai il fisico ma non sei brava...fidati

  • @cutiepaige101 She is demonstrating a fouette saute. Saute, meaning "to jump". You are thinking of fouette en tournant (think swan lake act 3 coda). Both, are ballet terms and movements.

  • @cutiepaige101 It's a fouette saute.

  • @cutiepaige101 THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF FOUETTES STUPID!

  • @cutiepaige101 it may not be a fouette turn that you are thinking of (literally spinning) but she is correct - this is a fouette turn... a fouette is 'to whip' or 'whip' which she is. She is also turning... WHOA. A fouette turn.

  • @cutiepaige101 its a different kind of fouette

  • @cutiepaige101 obviously it's not, or else it would say fouette turn. genius.

  • @cutiepaige101 No, it's not! That's why she said it was a fouette saute, not a fouette en tournant! Amazing what you learn if you actually listen to the video.

  • she look's like an angel, beautiful^^ but i think she is very skinny...

  • her body is so perfect and beautiful. it flows like an angelical creature

  • she's fiit.

  • Aww...such mean comments. For what it is, I think it's pretty good; I like her. She is not a professional dancer. And actually, even professional dancers suck sometimes. We can't expect all teachers/dancers to be perfect like amazing prima ballerinas. As long as she is able to teach the students and correct them, she is good enough as a teacher for the level she is teaching. Obviously we wouldn't see her teaching the advanced class at the School of The American Ballet.

  • Devante?

    Devant honey. Silent t.

  • she IS skinny! Look at her!

  • omg. her lines are terrible. her pronunciatian sucks. look at around 1 : 12 her back hand's in a claw. i've done ballet for 11 years straight. i know dancing. look up cecceti ballet. it should be the right pronuntiation

  • @danceinheavan she has an accent calm down

  • @mrsfreak2you nah. she just does a different system to wht i do. i only like ceccheti syle thts all.

  • @danceinheavan maybe you should learn to spell CECCHETTI first before judging her on her pronunciations..

  • @aislingcs why learn to spell it. and i just have a thing against americans. i've met more than twenty and not one as broken the stereotype. no offense to an Americans who see this. it's just luck that i've only met those certain people.

  • @danceinheavan Are you sure you even know how to pronounce it correctly? Your from Australia am I wrong? I'm pretty sure you can not pronounce it as properly as the French considering that's where cecchetti began...

  • @aislingcs Enrico Cecchetti was Italian. The Cecchetti Society was established in Londen in 1992. Okay, i've looked at 11 websites and there aren't any mentions to cecchetti being french. Cecchetti became incorperated with the International Method so french words are automatically used. i'm stopping this, k. i mean. seriously. bye

  • @danceinheavan I know he is Italian but what I was saying is that is where the original terms began. All the FRENCH terms are used... so really only a French person can have the most proper pronunciation.

  • @danceinheavan

It's really racist to stereotype everyone from a certain country. You meeting a few people from a country filled with millions doesn't NEARLY justify stereotyping ANYONE. It's just plain rude.

  • @danceinheavan

and what is your "american sterrotype" ?? -.-

  • @danceinheavan

AHHH!! I couldn't agree more! This video actually pissed me off

  • If there are any Ballerinas out there, that could watch my uploaded video's and responded with suggestions or tips I would really appreciate your help

Good or Bad I want to improve my dancing and need all the help I can get

    THANKS

  • @WinxFairyMiMi I think they are a la seconde turns.

  • Shes so pretty :D

  • Nice to see a ballet teacher on YT who can actually do it properly!

  • she's slender, too slender

  • she's slender, so slender

  • She's good, but that's not a fouette...

A fouette is when you turn.. -.-

  • @TheDisneyChannelPlus Not necessarily. What she did is a fouette, the one you're thinking of is a Fouette Turn.

  • @TheDisneyChannelPlus This is a type of fouette. It is also known as a Jazz fouette.

  • @TheDisneyChannelPlus That IS a fouette, you clot.

  • @TheDisneyChannelPlus omg....you think you know what a fouette is?? cause you have so many different fouettes. And the one michelle is doing is one of them ;p

  • su cuello O.o da miedo, muy largo

  • her arabesque is unbelievably ugly and unstable...

and shes pronouncing the names wrong===

lol i hate how negative i sound..

    but lol yeahh...

  • @roxyluvagirl She has a microphone pack attached to her back. It makes things difficult.

  • ok this is the fiirst video that has aa person that actully KNOW WHAT THIER DOING

  • @laurenboren94 Wich country are u from?

  • @AnaisLonkeuOfficial haha I know right, I love how she's pronouncing devant wrong ><

  • She should wear a black thong. Wait how I came to watch this video?

  • aww I want her as teacher! she's great

  • i wish she was my instructor

  • She has the perfect body for ballet.

  • she forgets to shape her left hands fingers. JUST SAYIN

  • great teacher, but her french is horrendous...lol but i like her =)

  • @omgBreakingDawn I thought exactly the same thing :)

  • Im fluent in french and that is quite possibly the worst french that ive ever heard

  • @nnpurple , she is american, what do u expect ? :)

  • @omgBreakingDawn a la seconde, its pronounced fine and it means too the side or in second position

  • @melodydoodahday yeah, I know. I also speak french semi-fluently, so I know when the pronunciation is dodgy. But at least you know what she means :P

  • I just wonder if you have any advice Im going to take my first ballet lesson in feb :) im so excited

  • ...where were the fouettes?

  • wow i can't even process that last move... xD

  • A little bit disappointed )= It didn't exactly teach me a fouette

  • @muffinxlovee you just do what she did except a bit faster. :)

  • i wish she was my instructor!!

    her body is BEAUTIFUL!!

  • Did anyone notice the cord coming out of her breast and that thing on her ass.

  • @ZEROxYUUKI1 Microphone?

  • @ZEROxYUUKI1 thats ewwww not to be mean but u dont look ther e people

  • id wish to have her body. so strong and pretty !

  • i wish she was my instructor!

  • @dazzleglassbeauty y shes terrible?
