I'm only 15, but from what I've learned jazz music is more than just "basic" music. If you play it like you do, that should be because you've been sitting behind your piano till 4 AM every day for the last 10 years - because you really know what you're talking about - not because you happen to know what a blue note is and how to play some chords now and then.
you have to go doctor dude sorry about that,,but it s funny,,thanks for that ,,man,,dont ,,,hold down secont wait a minute ,,you try to make fun of jazzmusicians something like that,,,allright listen, right know I love your music ,,you are the best hey everyone listen I m austins manager,,austin I like d you,I m not joke ,,if you series,,listen holdsworth,,allan holdsworth,it s make you better than that,,lol,,best regarts
sorry, but that just isnt true, the tempo is still implied, if both hands stop anywhere but the natural beat then its still classed as synocpation... however, his playing is so bad i think he's not playing syncopation but merely out of time!
how about 2 5 1 progression, 7 chords, poly chords. Wow dude come on.

Notice at about 0.18 he says he gonna play a 'C to F to G' chord progression and then plays an G, C and D.
...this guy's clearly having us on. Shame he's not being funnier in the process.

Isn't that more like a basic blues, than a jazz song. Maybe you could tell us how to design a 32-bar AABA song using basic seventh chords.
jazzflutist 3 years ago
yea, he doesnt really tell you anything and the chord progression is a blues... why didnt he teach 5/2/1 progression if its jazz...?
