Is Wendy dumb or really smart. She just looked at Colleen like a husband who screwed up the laundry on purpose so he doesn't have to do it any more, didn't she?
Can Susie not tell these women really care about her? Poor Colleen. I know just how she feels, your childs missing and you don't know if they're dead or alive. These scenes are probably the reason Judith McGrath is still on TV now. She's a good actress.WHY didn't they have caller ID back then?
@Sheri451 They didn't have tone phone's back then, which are nesscarcery for caller id, we were still on the old strowger exchanges, and had the rotary style telephones well into the 80's. I imagine Australia were similar, since they had a nationalised telephone company too.
@meetthefocker2 They didn't get caller ID around our area until almost 1990.We still had rotary dtyle phones here until the 1990s too. Some poor people still have them.
@meetthefocker2 Yes they do. The what we call Pay Telephones still exist too. But AT&T doesn't have them anymore. Plus the ones they have now cost 50 cents to use for three minutes. When I first started working, we had them in our break room and it only cost 15 cents to call on one.
I have a niece.he ran away from home when she was 14 years old, this was living hell, None of us could eat or sleep. She was nothing like Jennifer I was just like Colleen about where she was going and who she was with, I am what you call a hellipcopter parent. Even though she was not my daughter, My family and I had raised her from an infant . I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone, a child being abducted, and earlier Alison Page's son running away.
just when you thought the little comic relief/sidelines were over. don't forget: that guy, whoever, wants a yacht. a yacht which, by now i'm quite sure, most fans of the show wish to capsize. sooner rather than later..!

@Sheri451 I got caller id in 1997, I am surprised the old style telephones are still in use, whatever happened to Ma Bell!

@meetthefocker2 They went to AT&T. Instead of the Bells. It's Bellsouth for where I live. I assume it's Bellnorth, east and west?

@Sheri451 The babybells still exsist. I think they have different names now, like sprint and verizion.

If your child was misssing would you really ship your other kid off to their cousins, surely you wouldn't let them out of your sight!

@christo1961 It's pretty traumatic as a child to see your mother crying continually.
