Lads, hurling is the greatest game in the world (even though I personally prefer rugby), so why would people F**K up hurling by mixing it with shinty... Its bad enuf that they messed up footbal by mixing it with aussie rules.
@jraybull The GAA and Comann na Camanachd are doing a lot in using sport to keep the celtic language alive. I'm glad to see what they do in keeping Gaelic language and Celtic culture alive.
I know most USA cities have their own GAA so you could look into them if you wanted to play. I have played with the Denver Gaels. I know of just a few Shinty clubs in america...mostly in North Carolina...or New England and the West Coast. If there is a sport anywhere around the world (no matter how uncommon) somewhere in the USA there is a club...it's just most of the public is blind to it. I've had the honour of playing Gaelic Football, Hurling, Aussie Rules, and Rugby.

Wish I had a chance to play this is the U.S..Also i wish they could keep Gaelic and Scots Gaelic alive
