This video has made me get up to do my own laundry, which I have been putting off! Then I am off to do my paid job, outside the home. It's amazing all the things we accomplish, and shouldn't expect to be perfect.

I can relate to that! was a single mother of 2 under 3's for 2 years! That was hard work with 2 and being a solo Mum.. it's hard work, people give you flack about not doing anything all day.. I got SO MAD at our EX tax lady last year. We turned in those "Lifetime tax payment" thingys, where it shows how much money you've paid through your paychecks over the years. She said "Wow! You haven't paid into this in almost 20 years! That must feel crappy." She knew that we had 8 children. I had to resist the urge to tell her that not all of us were like her, putting our 3 week old babies in daycare. Then I would have been just as mean. But, I wanted to!

when I was young my mom got tired of being called just a housewife and got a full time job. Our family fell apart and now (15 years later) the fracture that started between us when she wasn't around to fix everything has led to 5 individuals living 5 different lives. No family anymore
I do understand you!!! Im a wife too but still without children :o( instead I have a full time job from monday to friday in a law office I make breakfast, lunch (for my husband) and dinner every single day. On saturday I make all the things I couldn't do during the week... right, laundry is included. And if I don't miss anything I can go out for a walk on Sunday, great! right? :oS Thanks God my husband helps a lot! eventhough marriage is great!!!!

a house wife is a job. long days all day twenty four seven. longer than some job that some people do. wives have to clean, and take care of the kids, cook, laundry, everything. so if you think that's nothing you do it. swap the jobs .
I don't have kids just yet but having to keep a house clean with my husband around (well and me too) is a hard job sometimes, especially dishes, they're my most hated chore, i don't mind laundry as much... kudos to you tho, with 3 kids too I'd hate laundry equally as well!

I work and do all the same things a house wife has to and it is not that easy....i barely sleep and i am going to school full time and we have an 8month old......neone who thinks its easy should try it for a week and then have an opinion n it....

I live on my own and I admit laundry day sucks ass and I can only image what its like for you being a home wife mainly cause taking care of kids is like a full time job.I was a kid and a very handful one that was causing trouble. but there are ignorant people that forgot that they were once a kid and forgot how much of a handful they were

So true...if my husband had to stay home to do the cleaning, cooking & taking care of the kids he'd quit after one day...lol. It's alot of work being a Mom & a wife but I love it!!!

a house wife is a job. long days all day twenty four seven. longer than some job that some people do. wives have to clean, and take care of the kids, cook, laundry, everything. so if you think that's nothing you do it. swap the jobs .

I don't have kids just yet but having to keep a house clean with my husband around (well and me too) is a hard job sometimes, especially dishes, they're my most hated chore, i don't mind laundry as much... kudos to you tho, with 3 kids too I'd hate laundry equally as well!

being a housewife is nothing. there's women that are in the work force and on top of that they have to do everything a housewife does cook, clean, etc and take care of kids so take that.
