LOL Houston was nothing like this show portrayed it. Even in the late 80s Houston was full of Blacks and Hispanics. Also Texan attire was very rarely seen worn in the city and never by any HPD officers that I ever remembered. You may have seen a few people wearing cowboy boots, but that's about it.

Hey, thanks for posting, it's been almost 20 years since i last saw an episode, i wish the studio would release the first season on dvd.
P.S. My boyfriend got pissed off when i watched this show, he knew i had a crush on Michael Pare, what a hunk, looked alot like Grant Show from Melrose Place.
Wth since when where there cowboys in Houston? Personally I hate it when people stereotype people from Texas as cowboys (except in movies ABOUT the old west) especially in urban Houston.
