@gurudev91 First off, Noel doesn't have the notes in front of him, he has the lyrics. And also, Noel isn't overrated at all. He's the first to admit that he's an average guitarist at best. But he's got the quality in his songs and guitar playing to evoke emotion without hitting a hundred notes a second (I'm not taking anything away from Clapton, Page, Hendrix, etc., who can hit that many)

I wonder why Noel is all into going country? Sometimes he almost sounds as if he's going into that kind of thing. Just sometimes the way that he sings certain lines like the "weeeellllllllll" parts here. And over the course of the last few albums I think you can clearly hear the progress of it. Songs like 'Waiting for the Rapture', 'Mucky Fingers', 'Force Of Nature' etc etc they all seem to have that Wild West sort of vibe. And god knows why 'High Horse Lady' made it onto DOYS.
