@1971matteo dude, i think you're getting your order of events backwards... the metallica songs that apocalyptica has covered are just that... songs originally written by metallica that apocalyptica chose to cover because of how amazing metallica is. as far as i know, metallica has never covered an apocalyptica song (with or without lyrics). although, the idea of james hetfield teaming up to write and sing vocals on an apocalyptica song (as several singers have) sends chills down my spine...

ok im confused i've watched a few videos and checked a couple of there promo pics and stuff why does the 4th celloist constantly change

sometimes its the older guy that appears to be blind and he has the cool blueish cello and then sometimes it the blonde guy

but the older guy never shows up in promo pics and the blonde guy does

but usually its just the three main guys

can anyone clear up my confusion?

The older guy is Antero... he isn't blind. He plays just in concerts and dosn't like to be in the promo stuff. He left the band a view years ago. For him came Perttu (left in vid). Then Max (right in vid) left. For him Antero plays in concerts ^.^

Yes, Perttu is in the fishnet shirt. HE had changed, to say the least, since this was recorded I recommend you watch the transformation of perttu kivilaasko vid. The other blond is Max Lilja, an original member of the band. Perttu joined in 1999, with Antero leaving. Then Max left, they added a drummer, and Antero now plays in the concerts, but doesn't do any of the recordings, which often use more the 4 cello voices.
