In the war the Bosnians wanted an independent Bosnia & Herzegovina. The Serbs wanted to annex Bosnia into Serbia proper to form a Greater Serbia under the guise of "Yugoslavia."
Look at a map today. Who succeeded in their aims? I see Bosnia & Herzegovina, I don't see Yugoslavia or Greater Serbia.
Bosnia's victory, facing the 4th largest army in Europe, is even studied by Marines at West Point Military Academy in the USA.
First, Milosevic was interested only in Serbian part of Bosnia - Republika Srpska.
Second, JNA was non existant in the time of Bosnian War (Please check facts before posting).
Third, JNA destroyed itself. It's purpose was to protect people of Yugoslavia, when that people started to fight and wanted to separate from eachother, JNA lost it's purpose, and was dissolved.

All and all speaking from a Canadian who lived in Sarajevo visited majority of former Yugoslavia during 1982-1986. Idiots like this messed up a good thing you guys had going. A country that was equal for rights, while providing a joyful lifestyle, intelligent, worry free, and most importantly full of grace. This isnt true. Vojvoda wasnt defending ppl there, he/they were attacking ppl in whole of Sarajevo(childeren, women, man, innocend ppl's ) . In the war the Bosnians wanted an independent Bosnia & Herzegovina. The Serbs wanted to annex Bosnia into Serbia proper to form a Greater Serbia under the guise of "Yugoslavia."
Look at a map today. Who succeeded in their aims? I see Bosnia & Herzegovina, I don't see Yugoslavia or Greater Serbia.
Bosnia's victory, facing the 4th largest army in Europe, is even studied by Marines at West Point Military Academy in the USA.

First, Milosevic was interested only in Serbian part of Bosnia - Republika Srpska.
Second, JNA was non existant in the time of Bosnian War (Please check facts before posting).
Third, JNA destroyed itself. It's purpose was to protect people of Yugoslavia, when that people started to fight and wanted to separate from eachother, JNA lost it's purpose, and was dissolved.

Absolutely right! I have lived in Spain, a country that was ravaged by civil war for many years but has managed to get out of the ditch of hatred, fascism and destruction and MOVE FORWARD!!! Without moving forward there will be NO FUTURE for anybody, serb, bosnian or from wherever. Please do yourself and the world a favour and stop this madness. I did some research on the funny fellow from NY. Apparently, his name is Zack Novkovic, and he was "voivoda's" right hand man. But he sold out "our great voivoda leader" towards the end of the war, when it turned out he was an American informant. He may have just tried to save his own skin though. Only an idiot or an agent provocateur could spout such imbecilities. Good job Zack. You're smarter than you look.

It would be nice if the Justice Dept. investigated this funny guy from New York. Remember John Demjanjuk who got deported after it was revealed that he was a concentration camp guard at Treblinka? I hope someone finds this weekend chetnik from NY and investigates his possible links to war crimes. I wouldn't sleep too well if I were him, with my face on youtube spouting nonsense about "our great voivoda leader." I hope they catch you, big boy. Maybe they already did.
