I agree, your pace is a little too fast for this song. However, your skill at the piano is impeccable. I myself know very little about playing the this instrument, but i have attended many live performances of the classical genre. You are exceedingly skillful although a bit brash. But don't let that bother you. Keep up the good work, and one day I might be coming to see you perform in concert.

I don´t have information of Ragtime in Brazil. There isn´t sheets here in Brazil.

I don´t know who can teach me. I only play the notes of the sheets. I don´t know how a ragtime must be. I only try to do my best.

I say I´m professional, but I´m not. I have never played in a recital. As you can see, I don´t have recital videos, or shows. I just like piano too much.

Don't worry, I understand well, and your English not bad at all. However I don't think you felt it quite enough. You played it too fast, and at times (1:35 especially) too loud.

I will say that I don´t know the truly velocity of the ragtime. I don´t know this style very well.

I have saw ragtime played in many velocities. (sorry about my poor english)

I will say that it is just a bit too fast. I prefer to play it lively and with feeling (that is with good tempo, but actually changing tempo off and on through out the whole song to add dynamics to it. Often people think just because you shouldn't play ragtime fast that it means you have to play it like you were playing at Joplin's funeral. This is one piece I cannot stand to hear played slowly. On the other hand, Bink's Waltz is often played too fast and that does bother me as well.

Não sou atleta e nem entendo de saltos, mas o suficiente para reconhecer que este seu salto foi perfect. Fique só no pulo ao banco e não tente pular o piano, senão poderá deixar o piano de lado para treinar ginástica na modalidade solo e/ou salto sobre o cavalo.
