The bottom line is we are all sinners. Scripture says if you break one commandment you are guilty of breaking them all, so none of us can point fingers. As others have commented, God loves us sinners but hates the sin. Christians need to be very careful about coming across as accusatory and hateful, it just drives people away and gives them an excuse to avoid church altogether, which is just the opposite of what we are trying to do. When it comes to homosexuals in your/our/my church: love them!

If God created him as gay..i don't find any sin there..and i'm a Christian. The Bible was written long time ago..times change and things change..We should widen our our perspective and adapt as the world advances.

The basic problem I see is that the "church" has lost it's credibility. Clearly Christians are to love at all times. And they are to follow God's leading as outlined in scripture. God loves us so much to accept us where we're at. And He loves us TOO much to leave us where we're at. People are correct to be intolerant towards hateful attitudes. Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple. Christians squandered their credibility when they tolerated racism and shunned minorities.

I was shocked to read about his homosexuality, somehow missed that. It does not change his heart for God, nor the beauty of this song. it is not about Ray - it is about how we receive what anyone does and how God uses that to reach us; it does not matter who/what/how/when/where; it is the effect it does on each of us, and that effect can be different on each of us

I would though, in love admonish U to go back into your scriptures & study God's sovereignty, the love He has 4 His Sheep vs. love he shows to unregenerate, Substitutionary atonement, all of Matthew 7(The difference between hypocritical & righteous judgement), rebuke of unrepentant sin,God's righteous hatred of both sin & sinner (Psalms4:5-6, is just 1 off many), etc. U can contact me thru Youtube mail. Ray is a great man, and God Bless him, but he has a burden on his soul that is eating him alive, he needs help and prayer. We all have baggage that just infects our lives, no matter who we are and what sin it is. I have my struggles and my worries, not with sexuality, but just with patience. We all need God's help and forgiveness in our lives and he will wash away those sins. A lot of us are too afraid to admit what's bothering us, I think and Ray has a burden he's kept too long.

I believe we are all human and whether as a preacher we manipulate to raise funds or lie about the hands going up at the altar call or come out to admit other sins like Ray, nothing can take away the truths we speak that can be verified by God's word - and Ray has spoken many such truths in his music. I cannot support the lie he is believing now, but I trust our prayers can help him to find the Truth again and proclaim it.

I love this song. This was sung at my Grandmothers funeral. She passed away after 50 years in the ministry. I dont care if Ray is gay or straight, God still works through him.
This is a wonderful song. As far as Ray's 'coming out', it doesn't change whether God loves him or not. Because of that, it shouldn't change whether we love him or not. We are supposed to love EVERYONE, including our ENEMIES. Or haven't you read that in the words straight from Jesus' mouth?

I have sin in my life, and I know what the Bible clearly states. Because of my imperfection, I am constantly repenting before God. I am sadly dissapointed that Ray Boltz does not recognize that homosexuality is a sin. He actually goes to Pride festivals, etc. as if to promote the gay lifestyle. My spirit has a conflict with this, and I cannot just dismiss it. Instead, I will pray for him and others like him. Bottom line, homosexuality is a sin...I don't believe in saying it is okay.

I was taken to a church one evening to show what the missionaries had been doing. They showed a video of the church they'd built and how the people danced for hours when they heard the Good news. GOD forgives all matter of sin. We need to remember JESUS died for all of us for that reason and also for us to be healed and live for GOD. Ray Boltz may have fallen, but my Bible says ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD. I believe in my heart Ray can change and GOD will forgive him. I heard a guy sing this song in my church in 98' . He was quadraplegic and had to use his chin to work the joystick for his wheelchair , but he just zoomed on up there and belted it out with so much heart it had everyone blubbering . It was one of those experiences thet has a deep impact on you .

We are not to be judges and yes we are to love the sinner and hate the sin. However, according to Matt 7:16, 17 says that by their fruits ye shall know them. We are fruit pickers. We can't pick just what we want out of the Bible, it all goes together. I will pray that he says that this sin is an abomination to the Lord and that is scriptural. @dbbbru There is nothing in the bible that is against homosexuality per se. There was no concept of gay relationships then--well, one exception, David and Jonathan--and there were men who were in love with each other and committed to eachother in the desert!! The bible was written 2000 years ago and does not apply to much of today's lives. Much of it is ancient tribal shibboleths -ie stoning women, or eating shell fish. Superstition and nothing more.

The message of Scripture is that we are to “judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24) We are to cultivate the act of spiritual discernment (1 Corinthians 2:15) Jesus commended a Pharisee 'Simon' by saying, You have judged rightly (Luke 7:43) We must build up & encourage each other to be stronger and support when we fall. god bless u :)

Ah I didn't know he's gay now, I'm a little devastated, he was like my Dad's favorite!!!! He's a handsome man too...but there is still the mercy of God, I will pray.
The bottom line is we are all sinners. Scripture says if you break one commandment you are guilty of breaking them all, so none of us can point fingers. As others have commented, God loves us sinners but hates the sin. Christians need to be very careful about coming across as accusatory and hateful, it just drives people away and gives them an excuse to avoid church altogether, which is just the opposite of what we are trying to do. When it comes to homosexuals in your/our/my church: love them!

The basic problem I see is that the "church" has lost it's credibility. Clearly Christians are to love at all times. And they are to follow God's leading as outlined in scripture. God loves us so much to accept us where we're at. And He loves us TOO much to leave us where we're at. People are correct to be intolerant towards hateful attitudes. Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple. Christians squandered their credibility when they tolerated racism and shunned minorities.

I was shocked to read about his homosexuality, somehow missed that. It does not change his heart for God, nor the beauty of this song. I'll enjoy his music and leave the judging and heart changing to God, if that is His will.

Ray is a great man, and God Bless him, but he has a burden on his soul that is eating him alive, he needs help and prayer. We all have baggage that just infects our lives, no matter who we are and what sin it is. I have my struggles and my worries, not with sexuality, but just with patience. We all need God's help and forgiveness in our lives and he will wash away those sins. A lot of us are too afraid to admit what's bothering us, I think and Ray has a burden he's kept too long.

I believe we are all human and whether as a preacher we manipulate to raise funds or lie about the hands going up at the altar call or come out to admit other sins like Ray, nothing can take away the truths we speak that can be verified by God's word - and Ray has spoken many such truths in his music. I cannot support the lie he is believing now, but I trust our prayers can help him to find the Truth again and proclaim it.

What matters MOST, is not what I say about myself, but what God says about me. He says that if I repent of my sin and believe on Jesus, ALL my sins are forgiven, past-present-future, and "He will raise me up the last day!"
I am not placed in His kingdom because of what I have done (works) but because of who I have believed on! Just as you can not undo your first birth, you can not undo your NEW birth in Him.

I thank you for this video, I remember playing this song on a Wed. night service, almost everyone was in tears. Ray Boltz has touched so many lives, I hope many realize a thorn in ones side, maybe with him always, but the good he has done will too be with him always. I was raised in all male gay foster home after years of being brutalized, tortured, raped & if it was for their love I would probably be dead or in prison, I have 7 children I never hurt, who don't hurt their kids or spouses, I rescue animals, foster children & I still have the ability to love because of them. I have sin in my life, and I know what the Bible clearly states. Because of my imperfection, I am constantly repenting before God. I am sadly dissapointed that Ray Boltz does not recognize that homosexuality is a sin. He actually goes to Pride festivals, etc. as if to promote the gay lifestyle. My spirit has a conflict with this, and I cannot just dismiss it. Instead, I will pray for him and others like him. Bottom line, homosexuality is a sin...I don't believe in saying it is okay.

...I was heartbroken for him when I heard that he'd left everything he knew to move to Florida. I can't imagine what that must've felt like. For a man who's faith is so obviously strong... for him to doubt all he believes in and everything he is. It must be eating him up inside. God will judge each man for their sins. It's not my job. Besides, I can't see their splinter for the plank in my eye! I don't think his choice lessens or voids his testimony. His songs are still moving hearts!!!

I thank God for you! I couldn't have said it any better than you did!!! This song helped me to the Lord at the age of 15. I was lost in my sins and hopelessness. I was taken to a church one evening to show what the missionaries had been doing. They showed a video of the church they'd built and how the people danced for hours when they heard the Good news. GOD forgives all matter of sin. We need to remember JESUS died for all of us for that reason and also for us to be healed and live for GOD. Ray Boltz may have fallen, but my Bible says ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD. I believe in my heart Ray can change and GOD will forgive him. I am not gay, nor do I condone homosexuality, BUT, that is between Ray and God. Being gay does not mean u can't worship God. The LORD commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves or we are incapable of truly loving the LORD as we claim to..HE meant it when HE said it. YES! I struggle with this myself, but I do try. Clearly Ray has fallen away from the Lord,& were not suppose to judge but Homosexually is a sin.In my opinion, I do not see how a person can live a life like this & get into the kingdom of heaven unless they are truly sorroful on their deathbed & I do believe in deathbed repentance.The bible is all we have to base our lives on as believers & this is clearly stated in the old testament & Jesus said "I did not come to destroy (old testament) but to fulfill.

I heard a guy sing this song in my church in 98' . He was quadraplegic and had to use his chin to work the joystick for his wheelchair , but he just zoomed on up there and belted it out with so much heart it had everyone blubbering . It was one of those experiences thet has a deep impact on you .

I love the lord with all my heart yet my life is riddled with sin and thats why i am so grateful that Jesus paid the price i could not. there are no categories of sin and sin is sin so Please don't fall into sin and judge this man just love him as a brother in Christ and pray that his eyes be opened. i love ray boltz!! when i was a toddler i would hear him come on tv and i would sing and dance like crazy. i also ust to say i was going to marry him one day. just because hes gay doesnt change who he is. and it doesnt mean he is a horrible person because he isnt. any body can love god and im sure hes a true believer. so all thess bad things that people are saying about ray isnt true Luke 6:37 said "Do not judge, and you will not be judged" ray boltz is a great man at heart, and i love him!!

We are not to be judges and yes we are to love the sinner and hate the sin. However, according to Matt 7:16, 17 says that by their fruits ye shall know them. We are fruit pickers. We can't pick just what we want out of the Bible, it all goes together. I will pray that he says that this sin is an abomination to the Lord and that is scriptural. Check out homeosexuality: A Biblical Analysis by Brian Schwerley. I will no longer buy his music or listen to him sing. Cannot support this lifestyle.

@dbbbru There is nothing in the bible that is against homosexuality per se. There was no concept of gay relationships then--well, one exception, David and Jonathan--and there were men who were in love with each other and committed to eachother in the desert!! The bible was written 2000 years ago and does not apply to much of today's lives. Much of it is ancient tribal shibboleths -ie stoning women, or eating shell fish. Superstition and nothing more.

We are in no position to judge the actions of another, because we are all sinners, and all sin is equal in the eye of God. It is more helpful to look within yourself and your own sins before criticizing another person on their shortcomings. <3

The message of Scripture is that we are to “judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24) We are to cultivate the act of spiritual discernment (1 Corinthians 2:15) Jesus commended a Pharisee 'Simon' by saying, You have judged rightly (Luke 7:43) We must build up & encourage each other to be stronger and support when we fall. god bless u :)

I LOVE this song! Ray Boltz is inspired by God. His annointing is in these lyrics. Those who say Ray isn't saved because of his homosexuality, then I guess we're all screwed too then, because I know I have sinned today, and so have you. We are not called to judge others, only God knows mans hearts. Jesus hung out w the losers of His time because they needed Him, they accepted Him. Those who 'thought; they knew God ( the pharisees) rejected Christ. We might all learn from that...

Ray is the best contemporary artist there is. I have always loved his music and him. His eyes and heart was finally opened and now everyone has turned against him for being his true self. People ask me why I went from Christan to Wicca. This is the main reason. You either love all the person, or none of him. I am gay and I am proud to be. I am also thankful Ray saw the light and finally came out. We gays now have a christain who's voice matters. The Gods has blessed Ray and forever will.

Sad how you kick Gods children to the curb, you need to repent for yourselves.. Judgmental, hate filled "Christians". If anyone is going to hell it will be yourselves. Hate the sin, but love the sinner! Remember Jesus died for ALL OF US. That means the new testiment. Leave the old testiment in the past where it belongs, Jesus saves us all.
