@moatwog I wonder how HE buys things? I wouldn't say that these protests were against money, per se. Why would that make you a hypocrite? I talked to a guy there that told me that robots were the solution and if they did all the work then humans could just sit around a chill. Sheesh. For me, I'm trying to weed out the crap and get to the core of the issue: that we are ALL being fucked by a small group of oligarchs who do not follow any rules other than to please themselves.
I watched an excellent series of You Tube videos embedded on Karl Denninger's The Market Ticker that helped me to understand better the OWS rationale. Check it out if you can, there was a Progressive being interviewed that suggested we audit The FED and constantly reminding a Tea Partier that he was part of the 99% too. No one should be ostracized if this is to gain footing.
One of the protesters is a guy that yelled at me, calling me a hypocrite for using money.

Should not have bailed out Banks, there is no such thing as "too big too fail".
For instance, thank god, the 3rd Reich failed (it was gigantic).
We can not borrow our way out of debt!
