Shroom Steak is cheaper to make with Life Shroom + Dried Shroom.

Shroom Broth only lasts for five turns, and it softens you. A lot of these recipes have additional side-effects that you only find out if you try them in battle. Spicy Pasta also gives you a +1 charge.

You can make all the pasta dishes with one pasta. This is the order: Spaghetti, Koopasta, Spicy Pasta, Ink Pasta.

The electro pop will electrify you, unless you're wearing Feeling Fine, so it still gives you the Volt Shroom effect.

I miss the Life Shroom recipes from the first Paper Mario.  You could make a Shroom Steak with just two Mushrooms and two Koopa Leaves for a 35+ coin profit.

A couple things I thought about today - there's a lot of alternative recipes for some of these items. For me, I cooked the Ultra Shroom in Ch 2 for a Shroom Steak for my Post-Ch2 Pit run, and I went lazy and cooked Life Shrooms raw (I had enough coins from selling badges to buy all I needed) for Shroom Roasts.

Cooking has always been an afterthought I think in terms of polishing the usefulness / practicality of everything. SPM actually does this better with all the cooking disks

there are many recipes that i use that seem, un usefull.

i would use a poison shroom, and use it when you have the badge that prevents you from being poisoned....
