There's a website called RainyMood. It plays the sound of thunder and rain. I'm listening to that and this at the same time. It's indescribably amazing.
thank you for the posts I used to listen to this whole album way back in the 80's whilst stoned and reading Lord Of The Rings one of my all time favourite instrumental concept albums, thank you Mr Hansson RIP.
This is some of the coolest music ever made. I started listening to this in the early 90's thanks to a friends mom that was hip on shit from that era.
Listening to this @ nighttime in the dark will most likely project the listener TO Lothlorien. Thank you, thyrfingindianen, for posting this remarkable gem from the early '70s. Sadly, I lost my original vinyl of this in a house move. Nai eleni siluvar antalyannar ~ (•8-D
Big up the crate diggers... Yes you are 100% right.. peace to all others who made such spot on comments... Its a shame jimi hendrix and bo hansson didt get it on and make some intergalatic music.. oh well thats the way it is.. cheers for the post thyrfingindianen ur a legend in your own right!
That would've been bad-ass. It's amazing because, while I love Jimi Hendrix, I was listening to Bo Hansson on the radio(I know!), and I had to look up his stuff on YouTube and stuff, and it's so wierd that Bo Hansson and Jimi Hendrix actually met, because I thought Bo Hansson is so insanely trippy. I guess Jimi thought so too, and that's why they jammed. Wierd.
I see with have some crate diggers in the house!! big up for the spotting and much love to all who made comments about this amazing piece of journey music! Man if only jimi hendrixhadnt passed away so soon these guys would have collaberated and taken this good shit to another level! Oh well its just the way it is , sorry bruce hornsby reference not intended lol....big thanks to thyrfingindianen
grew up listening to this. My dad is nuts about lord of the rings. He'd read me the entire trilogy by the time I was eight. Thanks for posting this. SO MANY happy days spent listening to this surrounded by my very own shire.
I think that this guy was unique and a genious.

@tazghettojungalist Jimi and Hansson & Karlsson did get it on. Jimi even recorded their Tax free.
Would have given almost anything to hear them jam.

Peanut butter wolf sampled this in his song, "Breaks em down" on the album "my vinyl weighs a ton"
I like both songs. Both are as deep as the other

Why so few views? This shit is tight :D
You should listen to Peanut Butter Wolf, Breaks Em Down. Great sample work from this song.
