  • @sharpanator Carbon is softer than the lens / coatings on the lens, and does not scratch - since it is softer... use an air bulb / blower to remove the dust.

  • im gonna just use a makeup brush and newspaper

  • @donkasun Good luck with that - the newspaper will scratch your lens.

  • 3:25 Is she saying "if some smudges presist"? She's saying "presist", right? Or am I hearing it wrong? My English may not be perfect but as far as I know she should say "persist", not "presist". Please correct me if I'm wrong. On the other hand... that's one hell of a pen! I'm looking for a company to order it from right now! It's not easy to find here in Sweden, although there are "lens pens" by Hama available in most stores. I have no idea how Hama can trade it under the same name...

  • @Altair8801 persist - not presist

  • Hey I am a believer love this product!

  • OH MY GOD, YOUR SKIN IS COVERED WITH OIL AND SWEAT, YOU FILTHY PIGS!!!!

  • Just use my new lenspen following the instruction, my lens is finally clean!!!!!!!!

  • Like my father would say ..she shollll is long winded...lol.

  • Carbon cleans fingerprints. Carbon also fuels fires. Carbon is very versatile.

  • THANX... :P

  • 5:15 exetera

  • SHE TOUCHED THE CLEANING TIP!

  • Gosh.. Why so long?

It doesn't remove spots on your lens..

  • goat hair.. ugh?

  • ei.,., can i use the lenspen brush to remove dust on the miror? thanks

  • GOAT HAIR

  • So this Lenspen has "no expiration date" but can last up to "500 cleanings".... err....

  • @eSQuiR3 expiration and use life are different things.

  • Haha. The narrator is SO careful to say everything correctly, and then toward the end she says "et cetera" wrong.

  • As soon as one smudge is gone, this product replaces it with another. After how many minutes of effort should I declare this to be a lost cause and chuck both my filter and the Lenspen across the room?

  • @AwesomeEnterprises Does your filter have multi resistant coating?

  • @AwesomeEnterprises agreed. what the fuck? is mine a dud? mine leaves more smudges than it "cleans". i don't get it. glad i only tried it on the filter and not the actual lens.

  • Canadian.

  • Sounds like a flight instructional video

  • omg i went =o when she put her thumb on the lens lol i do like this product. been using this for years now. and it's quite different from using just a microfiber cloth. why? the compound helps take off dirts faster especially those nasty thumb prints. when u use a mfibercloth,it takes you more than twice rubs to take off an unwanted dirt while with this thing,u only need one swipe. it saves time plus it's really handy. dunno why u guys dont like this product... it's damn worth it and affordable.

  • What ugly hands and anoying voice. My goodness. Product it's good though!

  • Someone said this is a useless tool? All you neeed is a Microfiber cloth? Maybe the poster of this riduculous statement should lend his/her considerable expertise to NASA and tell them how wrong they were to pick the Lenspen system (see the Lenspen Website) on the International Space Station as the _only_ NASA approved optical cleaning system! Any questions?

  • This is a useless tool. Its enough to buy a microfibra cloth for lens cleaning.

  • @Artgorgeous

    No competition.

The Lenspen is light years ahead of a cloth in terms of cleaning.

  • @SmalltimR ya im getting it wene i get my dslr cammera

  • solution: breath on lens wipe with cloth - 3 seconds max

  • @smurfchieftain

Congratulations, you just added grease and grime to your lens surface!

  • "is aboot"? I sense a Candian...

  • @darksnow07 *Canadian

  • @darksnow07 Closer to "aboat" than "aboot" to me, but then I'm also Canadian, so I didn't even notice.

  • 4:20 WHAT!?

  • @OldNightwishRules how exciting do you expect a tutorial about a lense cleaner ? lol I just found a brand new one on the side of the road...works awesome :)

  • Very, very helpful, I'm going to get one now.. But can you say BORING?

  • "in less than a minute, anyone can learn" said the near 7 minute video

  • @DPFleming well its explain how everything works. but i do agree,it didnt have to be that long

  • @DPFleming The technique - but they explain a lot of other things in the video than just the basic technique....

  • I have the nikon version of this, which is probably made by lenspen. Pity it cant reach the pheriphery of my nikkor 14-24mm lens

  • @snifnscratch You should check out the "actual" LensPen products - They ALWAYS have new stuff coming out !!! if they do not have a 'Pen to clean that lens, then NOBODY does ! No, I don't work for them - LOVE their products, though ! Use it on my Nikon 55-200 lens ALL the time ! Seems like my wife and daughter cannot handle my camera without putting little fingerprints EVERYWHERE GAH !!!

  • I got one of these yesterday. Couldn't be happier.

  • i just purchased one for my dslr (different brand).. its good in removing dirts & marks on my lens- but the problem i noticed is- the cleaning tip leaves a mark also.. lens doesn't look as clear as original.

  • Why is that funny? The drugs eat up all your brain cells?

  • I just found one of these in my office...don't know where it came from but it sure is useful.

  • "our brush is made of soft natural goat hair " lol
