It's depressing but it's not the end of the world! Get yourself together! Life is about LOSS not just hearing loss. You lose something EVERYDAY! Don't forget, life is too short and most iompotantly! you're not alone! Don't despair! Keep your chin up!!!
guys dont loose hope, i suffer from the same senseorinual hearing loss and i was shortlisted to join the military, just that this came at the wrong time, and my efforts for the last 3 years went down the drain
neverthless, dont loose hope, it all happens for a reason, i am sure that you all will be fine shortly,
I suffer a Senorineul Profound Hearing loss on my left ear do to a Fever when i was born. I wish there was a Surgery that can help restore my hearing that I never got to experince. As a waiter at a restraunt, it's a pain sometimes when having to deal with it. I hate when people make me feel like crap when try my best to understand or how i say things.
I have the same issue, except on both ears. There is a surgery, and it's called a cochlear implant. Problem is, it costs a lot. In the U.S., it can cost up to $40,000 USD. Pathetic.
I guess I'll never have normal hearing, seeing as how my family can't afford that.
In Australia, if you are eligible, a cochlear implant is free (paid by the government). Consider becoming an Australian citizen and you will benefit from our generous health system.
cant believe 9,500 other people suffered through this guy as well....
