I see a lot of arguments about writing vs breakdowns. Honestly, they still have breakdowns in a few of their songs, true in Just Drive they really just to a bridge, but what about Stuck In The Middle? And there's others, but I'm still getting to know the album. This album is a lot more serious and a lot darker, probably reflecting what they've been going through. Their next album might be back in the direction of Enemy of the World, let's just wait and see.

Tempo's cut in half, no group vocals, no breakdowns, guitars and drums dumbed down, alan's trying too hard to sound edgy and no keys. Stuck in the Middle is a complete mockery of fys and this, although better, still sucks. I will never pay money to see them live again. But whatever I've seen 'em 4 times while they were in their prime. All good things have endings I guess. They'll pick up a huge fan base for this "dumbing down" of their sound but they'll lose the one's who got them there.

I've been a fan since 2007, beatdown in the key of happy was the first song I learned on guitar. I've spread this band to all my friends, seen them live with Alexisonfire. And hey guess what, I've grown up since 2007, and so has this band. You know what else? This album is shaping up to be my favourite one yet. It might not have the keys or breakdowns, but it is still well-written music that the band put their hearts into. This is not a sell-out, this is an evolution.

FYS are now making music that is 'popular' that's why they are getting airplay on R1, in most peoples book that is called selling out. As for letlive, I also heard 'Renegade '86' on R1 and if you recall the DJ's reaction wasn't very positive, i was disappointed and surprised to hear them being played, as were a lot of people.

I never of these guys until Enemy of the World but their stuff isn't bad. Its way more polished and more melodic and radio friendly in some places. I enjoyed the breakdowns in EOTW that are missing here and in Stuck in the Middle. Idk we will see what this album brings. Don't judge the whole album off of two songs, cuz the rest of the album could be epic, you never know.
