this proves nothing. The real test will be millions of miles into the black empty void called space, with no help, so much that can go wrong, and total isolation. People will just snap and go crazy out in deep space
@eLLriDe420 This proves exactly what it was designed to prove. The Mars 500 mission showed that humans are psychologically capable of spending 520 days in an isolated enviroment. The inherent dangers of space travel were never part of the experiment.
These guys deserve to be selected as astronauts and cosmonauts. If you can spend 520 days locked in a chamber you deserve a 180 day ISS mission. It makes things more fun weightless.
Well done fellas, the whole world should want to be involved in the future of human exploration, and I hope they are. Haha it is Freeman, who better to have at the door.
Freeman advanced from pushing a cart to openning a hatch

Why does Gordon Freeman have to be the one to open the hatch? Poor guy always gets the scientific grunt work.

Awesome experiment! But uhm, did I see this right?
Gordon Freeman opened the hatch!
"Testing, testing. (coughs) Everything seems to be in order."
"All right, Gordon. your suit should keep you comfortable
through all this. The specimen will be delivered to you in a few
moments. If you would be so good as to climb up and start the rotors,
we can bring the anti-mass spectrometer to 80 percent and hold it there
until the carrier arrives."
