is rugby union in ireland like rugby union in scotland and england played by fee paying schoolboys...wierd game for the southern irish to have anyway given it has its roots in raping and pilaging others countries...o driscol bet he went to a fee paying school like wilkinson and hastings..must be a lot of fee paying schools in southern ireland..
actually, no. mostly played by cbs schools, originally set up for the poor, and still predominantly serving th eworking classes. i realise your comment started by asking was it this way so no gonna jump down your throat on the defensive, but man, seriously, educated questioning please, dont be such a tool
skip back a second there mate til i ask you a question or two. Firstly, where are you from? since you seem so qualified to speak on this issue. Secondly, have you ever played rugby in ireland? it seems to me that if you had you would know that in the 26 counties rugby is played almost exclusively by cbs schools. Even in the north the cbs are changing the tide away from the private schools. I would like to know that why you can discard the truth so flippantly as "drivel"??
skip back ? mate ? haha, listen when i said drivel i meant it your a surefire drivel merchant and i believe not a word that you say your blinded by your own stupidity.
funny how you keep attempting to divert the subject, which was the silly comments you made to begin with. you've refused to justify your comments with any evidence, you've refused to answer the questions put to you, so i now believe that there is no further need diporove your theories as you have exposed yourself as the imbecile that you obviously are. i think sir/madam you are actually too stupid to further insult
haha "diporove", yeah whatever you ballbagmuncher.....england world cup winners...9 go to boarding school...why cant you just accept that most union players have a connection to fee paying schools...what is rugby union anyway....i heard Iraq and Afgahnistan are going to be in the 8 Nations next year....
its not so much like in scotland. But ye, theres a good bit of it. Its getting more of a 'everyone' kind a game now. Im from a place called finglas, and 10 years ago you wouldnt see a rugby jersey there as its working class, but great to see loads nowadays.
