  • Can anyone tell me what midi keyboard that is?

  • @icybladeful Akai LPK25

  • @icybladeful akai lpk25

  • makes it look easy lol

  • cool guy

  • Thats awesome. I think he is very intelligent. But his pronuctiation can be better

  • @LadyBugChild im guessing you're american then, you speak much french?

  • @mesvidsfavoris no im just a teenager that realizes how fucked up society is today

  • @mesvidsfavoris Apparently not, mesvidsfavoris. Stromae did this last year. :)

  • @djmfranc nice reason

  • i love him.. ! *____*

  • This guy acts like these sounds were a preset programmed into Reason, please. its not as easy as it looks who's this guy kidding.

  • @UrbanLikwid Actually some of the sounds ARE presets in the Reason factory sound bank. And the song is at 120BPM which is the default tempo in Reason so I get the sense that it came together very fast. He loaded a default song, tried a few factory presets until inspiration struck, and went on to add a little extra spice through his production and vocals. I know the creative process isn't easy for all of us sometimes but then other times it is and you write a hit quickly and go global. :-)

  • @UrbanLikwid stop beeing lame, learn to use devices and u will be able to get even better presets...

  • @UrbanLikwid it blatently was that easy, almost all of the pop songs these days are written like that, thats not why they are all shit, they are all shit so you can just use presets and throw it together. check videos of people who produce lil wayne et al its all amateur kids and presets but working in proper studios... its ridiculous!

  • And guys wonder why i use Reason... gotta love it

  • The ION ION-DISCOVER-KEYBOARD USB Keyboard cost About $50.00 and for the Akai LPK25 cost about $70.00. You Probably find it at your local Guitar Center If you live in the U.S. but you can find it on Amazon too. And You Can get The (R3450N) program for free.

  • Alright If anybody needs to know what type of keyboard he is using, I found these two that look exactly the same. ION ION-DISCOVER-KEYBOARD USB Keyboard and the Akai LPK25. Those are the two looking alike to the one in the video.

  • 4 lines

    4 mins

    4 million

    simples

  • doesn't sound very good. If it was released in the USA, I sure never heard it...

  • it was not made in 1 min, much has to be premaid: Saxophone has 3 levels of sound but he touches only 2 buttons. Doing the Sounds need much more time ...but yes it's a simple song

  • atleast he is an honest young man

  • a question: the trumpet thing was pre-recorded? coz he didn't play it on his keyboard to record as with the beats

  • @bobbysuger it's a sample. Like, a part of a song lifted off some record or sample cd.

  • @bobbysuger It's a sample dipshit

  • @ILikeHouseMusik why are u calling me dipshit? i just asked a question. are you really not normal enough to answer it like a sane person? geez. keyboard warriors are destroying the internet

  • whats the name of the programm he uses ?

  • @YosTheLOL Hey there Yos. It's a program called "Reason." If you check out other videos on our channel you can see a lot more about the program, beginner tutorials, and feature descriptions. Plus interviews with other artists that use our software. Thanks for the interest and hope you enjoy our channel! :)

  • @PropellerheadSW NO, thank you!

  • So awesome. God I love Reason :)

  • u young people cant judge good music, only filled with TV shit. :)

Reason ad by the way. I didn't give a **** about this tune..

  • @Tank8484 Your skill in the use of hypocrisy is amazing. Your calling young people ignorant yet you have to be pretty ignorant to assume all young people are ignorant.

  • This shit was #1 in sixteen countries? Here's even more proof that music today doesn't have to be any good to be a hit, and that anyone with no talent can be a pop star.

  • wow, you dont even have to play an instrument to make a song anymore, just be a computer geek

  • REASON FTW!

  • :D:D:D:D:D:D:D!!!

  • Stromae il est vachement sympathique...

    What a cool guy!

  • This explains justin beiber....

  • @youhurtmehbrain "This explains justin beiber"

Actually, I doubt that kid knows how to play any instrument, read music, or sing. A corporation does everything for him and he's picked as a product to sell. You won't hear from him ever again in a year from now.

What Bieber illustrates perfectly are the benefits of birth control, so you don't end up with a little freak like him.

  • found it sorry..(facepalm)

  • Now make good music...

  • That just shows how easy it is nowaday to make "good" music tunes... I like the song though, sometimes the simple is what's best, it's just, when you think of all the greats, Led Zeppelin, The Blues Brothers, Pink Floyd, BB King, etc., they just work so much more for the tunes and their tunes stayed a live even todays day. So my point is that this tune proberly will not be remembered, and therefor the greats stayed GREATS! because they worked for it, and didn't make it on a PC fo like 5 min.♥♫☺

  • @FunkenDK If it takes only 5 minutes to make a really successful track, than everybody would be a musician... First, you have to learn the whole program, how a synthesizer works, musical theory etc... And ofc, without proper mixdown and mastering everything sounds sh1t .. I think this guy worked on this track from min. one week to 1-2 months.. Also making a catchy tune is really hard .. melody has to be simple, but not boring and so on...

and btw I don't like this track too.. sry for bad english

  • Well thanks for making me watch a 4,5 minutes long commercial!

  • He doesnt mention the hours of editing the sound and later mastering the track. If you use the exact samples he used, but without effects and without mixing down/mastering the track it still sounds like a huge pile of crap.

  • where can i get that prog for free;)?

  • what is his sax's name?

  • Wow I can say when a person have talent with anything can make Guud music!

  • @GJMalaquias FUCKING DISGUSTING. That's what it is.

  • @acertm @GJMalaquias @ikigaimusic If complexity was the only ingredient to good music then John Cage modern classical and Prog Rock would be the all time best hit songs. Buddy Holly was simplicity. We Will Rock You is simplistic. Good music or songs we identify with aren't winners of the "Annual Worldwide Complexity Prize"... and they shouldn't be, imho.

  • @acertm

    what a sad comment.

  • Enorme !

  • @GJMalaquias its not pathetic its not good, its ridiculous :p

  • that sax made the track

  • @GJMalaquias I have to agree with you, but then I think of bands like the White Stripes with only drums, guitar and vocals. Sometimes simplicity just works.

  • Reason is the best, hands down.

  • @donlon77 You should look at Ableton Live.

  • being a metal rock blues guy this music isnt for me but i respect the talent of the artist and applaud his success........most of all i love the simplicity of arranging and creating songs in minutes......to get going and explore instead of engineering........

hit song shown in minutes gotta love it.............

  • well to be perfectly correct it wasn't made in reason its actually record but it really doesn't matter. IT'S AN AWSOME SONG MADE IN REASON/RECORD YAY!!!!!!!!!

  • I just finally figured out how to use VSTi synths in reason, sample them. Thanks Stromae :)

  • what kind of controller does he use? I only know the Korg Nanocontrols with black keys..

  • @Roelthedrummer Looks like the Akai LPK25 to me

  • @PropellerheadSW I think it's the Korg microKey :)

  • @PropellerheadSW I agree with you.

  • Fuckin' great job, genius! Really exciting!

  • Yeah! Many modern day HITS are really simple compositions. Catchy Hooks and simple single octave melodies. Very happy to see Reason represented professionally.

  • Just shows the K.I.S.S. principle applies in all things!

  • @aikighost Yeah! Cooking, writing programs, playing a RTS... xD

  • @aikighost and that it? :)

  • How does he make that pitch with saxophone? I am Reason newbie, so... :)

  • yes Reson is the best

  • I am not a fan of your music but It's simple, it works and you have accomplished your dream. What else?

Que la force soit avec toi!

  • does any one know the exact patches he used in reasonÉ and teh sax patch seems to be a sample he had form beforeÉ what do you guys thinkÉ

  • @Nastyslim89 I've heard that the bassline is based on a sample in the Factory sound bank called P800 Digibass

  • @Nastyslim89 I've heard that the bassline is based on a sample in the Factory sound bank called P800 Digibass

  • Nice! Reason Rulezzz =)

  • Hej PH thx for this video. But why is it unlisted?

  • @MNCHNtoSTHLM It was fans only on facebook ;)

    great video :D

  • @MNCHNtoSTHLM But why? I think this is the best kind of PR PH can get!!!

  • @MNCHNtoSTHLM It'll go out to the larger public but we're just giving our Facebook friends an exclusive release.

  • Simple and fun. Just how a pop song should be. Well done!
