Xbox 360 benq drive with iXtreme 1.41 x8 noise

it is normal but near the begging i dont know if it was the camera but a high pitch crackleing that would be a problem i flashed mine at 8x same clunking sound dont worry the 360 normall dose it just its harder to hear if its spinning at 12x so if the crackling is is ur drive yeah there is a problem

its best to flash it at 12x.its not even that loud.

mine does that, you need to oil the drive motor, they run so fast its wearing out the shafts, take apart the drive and remove the motor, there will be a bunch of black gunk in and around the shaft ,clean it up with alcohol, use machine oil like what people use on old sewing machines, re-oil the shaft, the motor will turn more freely again.

That's because the laser doesn't know how to deal with the slowed down speed. Go back to 12x.

Sounds like its going too fast or the disc spinning chassis is a bit loose or off. Maybe the modder installed a passkey and didnt quite do it right.
