ok so ive used nearly every decent daw out there, i currently own, reason 4+record, cakewalk sonar 8.5, sony acid pro 7, fl studio 9 (i regret buyin that 1) and cubase 5, im a pc user/hip hop producer i love playin vsts via midi, but ive never been happy with a daw, fl studio is just lame, cubase takes foreva to load up if u have lots of extra plugins installed n disolve parts dosnt work in sonar n i really need that! so reaper is my last hope its reaper or hardware.
get a better pc, go with a quad core, with tons of ram , it can't fail lol. i wish i had one with cubase 5 running on it, check out the presonus firebox external sound card for low latency, the Maudio audiophile has zero latency, the internal sound card. audiophile 2469 or something liek that it's called i got the number wrong lol. it's on their site, it's been out long time.
I've seen this off the cockos website - and loved this video. I'm planning on working with a few bands and needed to be able to edit the drums. So .. THANKS!
Seems like you have to be a math genius in this video.

ok just to fill every1 in, yes i tryed reaper and yes its the best daw ive ever ussed, reaper solved all my problemz,
WHY IS REAPER NOT MORE POPULAR???????????
I ONLY HERD ABOUT REAPER BY CHANCE FROM SOME RANDOM GUY I MET IN THE STREET WHU WAS ALSO A PRODUCER, BUT IM VERY VERY VERY GLAD I GOT TOLD ABOUT!
i hope reaper becomes more recognised in the daw world, that would be a very good thing for all forms of computer produced music.
