Since it's an illegitimate national anthem (unless someone can prove to me that a country named Black does, in fact, exist), it's a racial anthem, designed to foster division, and alienation, among blacks in America, by making them believe that they're not Americans, but members of another nationality, one based on race. Have to admit I am not that fond of our current NA it is really not that old 1920 or 30's or so. And a complete ripoff of "God Save the Queen". An anthem with some gusto is what I would like. EU anthem is (ode to joy) bombastic. The Soviet Anthem had some balls. Hell I would like the Battle Hymn of the Republic for the US. This is wishy washy. Kind of has a defeatest sound to it.

The same way the US national anthem talks about America's struggle for freedom from British rule, this song talks about black people's struggle for freedom from slavery, and the hope that brought us through. So no, the song isn't so much "for black people only", it's about black people. Also, listen to the words again... it's calling for "every voice" to sing, calling for peace and harmony amongst ALL people.
