UPDATE: NOAA forecasters estimate a 60% chance for more M-class flares and a 10% chance for an X- class flare in the nexted 24hurs. Also the planetary Kp=4 index is now showing unsettled conditions, while the interplanetary magnetic field has Btotal: 9.3 nT

@justinef10 yes. When the earths magnetic field collapses briefly during these events we are then subjected to harmful cosmic rays and particles. For example Gamma caused by "the galactic superwave theory" scenario. Keep studying we will need new scientists like you to deal with the huge changes in this planet.Possible changes include reversal of the magnetic poles and current field within the core.Global repositioning from solar maximum activity happening now.
